Oakland vintage guitar stratocaster Fender type. JAPAN 1970'S. Lake Placid Blue. In perfect and absolutely functional original condition. Low action; No spitting in the microphones and potentiometers. No extraneous noise. No dead notes. the microphone in first position is weak but I haven't touched the wiring; All other positions of the selector give a balanced and varied sound; gonna give a working PU comin' with. Guitar stay in tune. Two cracks in the paint near neck pocket (see last pic). Frets and truss rod ok. Made in Japan in the 70s. Sounds great I would like to change pickup before get it but no need it s a warm guitar for jazz blues pop. Great condition with Flight (no handle on the fly case) Info about this brand Maison brand started in Korea in the late 70´s and produced handmade amazing guitars till end of 80´s. Woods and finish is as good or better as any guitar with the same age even Fender and Gibson. They are by far better then any guitar made after 2000 because nowadays exotic woods are not allowed to import to the USA. Late 80´s Maison Guitars closed and was bought by YOOJIN Cº and started to be produced in large series with not so good materials but some are great If you find a Maison for sale and the M have a long stripe in the middle (look M Maison showing a finger to Gibson) it´s 80´s BUY!
