Faulty, sold for parts or repair.  This camera does not turn on, even after the battery has been charged. It has light general signs of use but no signs of physical damage, and no corrosion in the battery chamber. The screen has some light marks but look OK overall. The battery (a genuine Canon one) seems to charge OK on the charger, it flashes as normal until fully charged, but the camera does nothing when you try to turn it on. This is as far as I can test it. Sharp MT-AV1 Digital Audio Video Player One for the collectors only, I suspect... Impressive back in its day, I haven't used this for years, but I've charged it up and as you can see from the pctures it is still in working order and holds a charge. I don't have any of the accessores, which is a shame as the cradle allowed you to link it up to hi-fi and VCR equipment, but it still works via the SD card slot (battery life not clear, but it would be safe to assume poor after all this time). Please note: the menus are Japanese only. Not that tricky to navigate, and most functions are by button or navigation... but this is why I would only expect collectors (or at least the curious!) Just what you see in the pictures, no adapter or accessories. There is a small mark on the screen, as indicated in picture 10 by the red circle, but otherwise in good shape.
