Paris (Paris)
Tarifs France, Belgique et Luxembourg : colis à retirer en Point Relais® International Home Delivery by Mondial Relay to: Deutschland, Österreich, United Kingdom, España, Portugal, Italia, België, Luxembourg: 0,5 kg 3,80 € 0,5 kg 9,00 € 1 kg 3,80 € 1 kg 9,00 € 2 kg 3,80 € 2 kg 9,00 € 3 kg 4,30 € 3 kg 9,00 € 5 kg 4,90 € 5 kg 9,00 € 7 kg 6,40 € 7 kg 15,00 € 10 kg 7,50 € 10 kg 15,00 € 15 kg 9,60 € 15 kg 20,00 € 30 kg 12,50 € 30 kg 25,00 € These international Mondial Relay shipping prices would only be interesting in case of multiple purchase. The Paston Letters 1422-1509: New Complete Library Edition, Edited With Notes and an Introduction, Vol. 2 (Classic Reprint) James Gairdner Auteur: James Gairdner Editeur: Forgotten Books Broché: 346 pages paperback Publication: 26/07/2012 Dimensions: 22,86 x 15,24 x 2,29 Publier en: Anglais Languages d'origine: Anglais Help ? Early Documents BEFORE entering upon the correspondence of the Paston family, in the reign of Henry vi., we have thought it well to give the reader a brief note of such deeds and charters of an earlier date as appear either to have been preserved in the family, or to have any bearing on its history. The following is a list of those we have been able to meet with either in the originals or in other quarters, such as Blomefield s History of Norfolk, where notices are given of several documents, which appear now to have got into unknown hands. The documents seen by Blomefield, and those from the Paston and Dawson-T urner collections, now in the British Museum, were probably all at one time part of the Paston family muniments. The three Harleian charters seem to have been derived from a different source. AD eed is cited by Blomefield (H ist. Norf. vi. 480), by which A nselm, Abbot of St. Benet s, Hulme, and the Convent there, gave to Osbern, the priest (said by Blomefield to have been a son of Griffin de Thwait, the founder of the Paston family), the land of St. Benet sof Paston (terram Sancti Benedtcti de Paston), in fee, for half the farm of one caruca, as his ancestors used to pay for the same. Also a Deed of William the Abbot (who lived in King Stephen sreign), granting to Richer de Pastun, son of Osbern, son of Griffin de Thwete, all the land that the Convent held in Pastun, with their men, and other pertinencies. Also a Deed of Covenant between Richer de Paston and Reginald the A bbot, and Convent of St. Benet s, Holme, that when peace should be settled in England, and pleas held in the Court of our Lord the King, the said Richer would, at the request and at the expense of the A bbot, give him every security in Court to release the lands in Pastun. Ralph de Paston was son, as I take it (says Blomefield) of this Richer, and appears to have had two sons, Ric (Typographical errors above are due to OCR software and don't occur in the book.) Le morceau d?ouverture Our Faces Split The Coast

My Kingdom Album Notes The Cutter is a strange compilation with cash-in written all over it. The front sleeve reads 12 classic tracks. It's a lie. Yes, some of the songs are among the best recorded by Liverpool's finest post-punk band, but the inclusion of two bizarre covers doesn't help the collection reach any sort of classic status. Perhaps WEA Records thought fans would see The Cutter as a best-of collection, which it isn't; maybe they thought those same fans would clamor for the covers of songs by the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. To start with, the album material isn't necessarily the best of. While the songs are a just-decent sample of some of the finer moments from the band's glory days, Songs to Learn and Sing and Ballyhoo are both better introductions. Albums covered include Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine, Ocean Rain, and Echo & the Bunnymen. There are classics here to be sure: "The Cutter," "A Promise," and "Ocean Rain" are all glorious slices. But there are glaring omissions among these classics, including "Lips Like Sugar," "The Killing Moon," "Bring On the Dancing Horses," and "Never Stop." The Cutter might be a nice find in the used CD bin, if one is looking for one particular track and an assortment of other okay songs. The live covers certainly don't justify the album, as they serve merely to break up an otherwise interesting collection. "Paint It Black" sees Ian McCulloch butchering the classic song like a campy vampire; it actually starts out promising, but McCulloch falls apart about a minute and half in. "All You Need Is Love" just sounds stupid, as if the band had only been rehearsing it for a day; there's no passion in the performance. The Cutter would cut cleaner if its cuts included the classics. ~ Tim DiGravina WEA RECORDS / 1988 / Printed in GERMANY Boitier Cristal // Crystal Box Tous mes CD sont en état impeccable, très peu utilisés Frais de Port, Shipping cost: Pour la France: 3,50€ (+1€ par CD Supplémentaire) For Europe, Switzerland and Norvay: 5,50€ (+2€ each additional CD) Rest of the world: 7,85€ (+3€ each additional CD) MERCI de CONSULTER MES AUTRES VENTES... But every now and then comes the rare traditionalist with a twang and a swagger and a bucket full of heartache to sing about. Enter Sweethearts of the Rodeo. They are country even when (or if) country isn't cool. And thank goodness. Because even legendary stalwart Dolly Parton tiptoes over to the bluegrass side of the pasture half the time. Not these gals. With harmonies galore, they sing and sing. And they aren't separatists either, tossing in covers of Donovan's "Catch the Wind" and Bob Dylan's "One More Night." They work because those tunes hold that simple, heartfelt beauty -- missing in so many of Nashville's hitmakers -- that is the essence of good country music. Beautiful Lies is a decent little record. Nothing terribly earth-shattering, but that's just fine. ~ Kelly McCartney SUGAR HILL RECORDS / 1996 / Printed in USA Boitier Cristal // Crystal Box Tous mes CD sont en état impeccable, très peu utilisés Frais de Port, Shipping cost: Pour la France: 3,50€ (+1€ par CD Supplémentaire) For Europe, Switzerland and Norvay: 5,50€ (+2€ each additional CD) Rest of the world: 7,85€ (+3€ each additional CD) MERCI de CONSULTER MES AUTRES VENTES...
