I had no problem to hear and also to work the local repeater on the "Low" power setting. The battery cells has been replaced with new NiMH rechargeable batteries. This was a cost of 30 eur. They are in new condition.   You can buy for this series of radios new battery packs  or even a battery case for 6 AA rechargeable cells (sold 14eur on).  I sell without charger and antenna (any UHF 70cm antenna with BNC connector will fit). A protective cap is missing on the Squelch control. The visual condition is quite good, especially the front. Minor scuffs on the back. See photos.
