Cette semaine je mets en vente de rares EP, SP et LP de Johnny Hallyday, prix de départ 9,90€, sans prix de réserve, les frais de port sont groupés en cas d'achats multiples / We combine shipping fees for multiple purchased items. These records have been stored away from moisture and light but, sometimes, not from dust. A good cleaning will definitely increase the sound quality by taking off some of the dust that might still be there. As every record collector has his own way to do it (VPI or Okki Nokki cleaning machines, LGL paste, sprays, etc...) we leave this delicate operation to its next owner. Graduation system: M (MINT) Sealed, never played, new in its original packaging. NM (NEAR MINT) Almost perfect copy, never or very rarely played. At worst, one or two surface marks, generally insignificant and due to inner sleeve. This the highest grade for an unsealed record. EX (EXCELLENT) Very clean copy, some insignificant surfaces marks (hairlines). This record has been rarely played, on good equipment and treated with care. The cover has very minor flaws: a name or discrete initials, low wear corners, very slight ringwear. VG + + (VERY GOOD + +) More surface marks.Minor flaws or cover wear, minor edge wear. This is generally the grade given to a 20 to 50 years old record with a "normal" life, treated with care, but listened and handled regularly by his former owner. VG + (VERY GOOD +) Has been played a lot, shows multiple slight surface marks (hairlines) generating background noise between songs but no jump or skips. Cover shows important signs of age and storage (slice corners worn, name, date, dedication, tears, etc....). Generally, this record was one of the favorites among previous owner discotheque, went from hand to hand, had to animate some parties and bears the scars of a busy life. VG (VERY GOOD) The record is very worn, has been played a lot, shows important scratches that are creating permanent background noises but do not skip or jump. Still listenable (especially at high volume for big sound). The cover is well worn, torn important corner and edge wear, significant traces of marker pen or... well, the previous grade but more accentuated. G (GOOD) Has been played to the hilt (but still playable on some titles), many scratches, crackles a lot while playing, may have jumps or sticks. The cover is very damaged. This record must be very rare to be proposed on sale ! We tend to exaggerate our gradations, however, in case of doubt, do not hesitate to ask questions before bidding. Cleaning The sleeves are generally cleaned. Each collector has his own method for cleaning vinyl records, those that we offer for sale are just clean with a smooth velvet brush to take off the dust before being photographed. Photos Our records are always photographed by natural light. No scanning which tends to erase some defects. Packaging All our records are shipped in packaging specifically designed for vinyl in cardboard (double box) and delivered in a plastic sleeve. Shipping Our records are shipped within 2 business days after receipt of your payment. Returns Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, the costs are borne by the buyer. Your Portal to Completion Every Future Press guide is designed to maximise the gaming experience--regardless of the player's skill. In the case of  Portal 2, this is a difficult task: only those who can solve the test chambers will get to feel that true sense of accomplishment. If players look up the solution in a book or even watch it as a movie on YouTube, then they'll bypass this feeling completely. This is why our  Portal 2  guide follows a new concept: the solution will only give away as much as the player wants to know, no less, and no more. Thanks to a multi-layered walkthrough consisting of different levels of information, the official  Portal 2  guide lets players decide for themselves how much help they receive. From just a small hint right up to a complete solution--everything is there. This guarantees a maximised gaming experience, just as you would expect from a Future Press guide. In addition the guide also offers lots of extras, including a huge on-location interview with the game's producers, a whole chapter devoted to previously unpublished concept drawings and artwork from  Portal  and  Portal 2, as well as a comprehensive section on Trophies/Achievements, for all of those who wish to fully master the game. Multilevel walkthrough |  Offers expert guidance while avoiding unnecessary spoilers--allowing mastery of the game without ruining the experience. Extended co-op coverage |  Comprehensive walkthrough for the co-op game, including shortcuts and alternate solutions, with contributions from the current world record holder for the fastest run through  Portal. Simplified isometric maps |  Each test chamber is presented in a uniquely created 3D illustration which deliberately shows as little detail as possible, but also as much as is necessary. This means that players can easily and quickly understand the solution and avoid the confusion of overloaded screenshot maps. The Art of Portal |  Stunning computer graphics, early concept drawings and wonderful illustrations show  Portal  and  Portal 2  in breathtaking style and beauty. Artwork that has been made public exclusively and for the very first time in the official guide. An audience with Valve |  An in-depth interview with the key figures from the development team of  Portal  and  Portal 2. More than 20 pages filled with background information and also about the making of the two games. Trophies/Achievements |  For the complete gaming experience; a detailed step-by-step guide to unlocking all 50 Trophies/Achievements. Although many of them are very challenging, having a complete collection doesn't have to be the sole privilege of advanced players. Exclusive strategy videos |  Access to countless game videos which perfectly show the guide's pro techniques and strategies for every chamber. Exclusive to the Collector's Edition Guide Additional content  |  An expanded 'The Art of Portal' with additional render images - for real fans. Hardcover Binding  |  So it will last forever. A cover illustration created for true Portal fans as well as a fine back cover with a removable info sheet for that pristine look. Two bookmarks  |  Each bot--Blue and Orange--possesses its own ribbon bookmark (colored...you might have guessed...blue and orange). So that you can keep track of both sections, the single player and the co-op game.

Generally, in the sense that Retrouvailles evinces, from beginning to end, that paradoxical mixture of solidarity in the pursuit of a collective goal, together with competitive individual excellence that makes jazz great. There is unstinting excellence and unflagging attention to detail; all the while knowing that no one is likely to get rich from this record, or this music, even though they really should. Specifically, because like many listeners of my advanced age, I fell in love with the music via a sound similar to Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers—those little big bands (or are they large small ensembles?)— that mix genuine funk with elegant sophistication, delivered by exquisitely arranged multi-horn line-ups. De Preissac clearly draws on this inspiration as well. The expertly navigated changes in meter and tempo are right out of the Wayne Shorter-era Jazz Messengers. The always subtly surprising tonal colors in de Preissac's arrangements recall the arranging work of his compatriot, flautist Christophe dal Sasso's Exploration (Nocturne, 2006). There are further parallels. Drummer Andréa Michelutti, like Blakey, favors the booming lower range of his kit. De Preissac, for his part, calls to mind some of the best qualities of the playing of various Jazz Messengers pianists (Horace Silver, Bobby Timmons, Cedar Walton, Mulgrew Miller): a round, gospel-tinged sound, a slight florid tendency to the baroque, all the better to be heard over and between the large-ish ensemble. In de Preissac's case, these characteristics are overlaid with classical elements as well (as on his solo on "Minor's Mood"). As a brief cross-section of the players' strengths, listen to the sequence of short solos on "Jungleblues," which sounds for all the world like a Jazz Messengers show closer. Tenor saxophonist Jean-Christophe Béney is firmly in the tradition (though elsewhere on the record he favors ever so slightly "out" sonorities) and equally in control. As does trumpeter and composer Fabien Mary, who insistently splits the beats of his solos. For a bit of contrast, Michaël Chéret, on alto sax, heads for more angular territory, Eric Dolphy style, only to be followed by trombonist Mickaël Joussein's very cool sound on top of the rhythm. The leader takes a crystalline turn, followed by an arco episode from bassist Manuel Marchès and a brief trading of fours with drummer Michelutti. And that's not even the record's finest number. In de Preissac's case, these characteristics are overlaid with classical elements as well (as on his solo on b'"'Minor's Moodb'"'). As a brief cross-section of the players' strengths, listen to the sequence of short solos on b'"'Jungleblues,b'"' which sounds for all the world like a Jazz Messengers show closer. Tenor saxophonist Jean-Christophe Béney is firmly in the tradition (though elsewhere on the record he favors ever so slightly b'"'outb'"' sonorities) and equally in control. NEAR MINT (NM OR M-)** A good description of a NM record is “it looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time.” In other words, it’s nearly perfect. Many dealers won’t use a grade higher than this, implying (perhaps correctly) that no record or sleeve is ever truly perfect. NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any “spindle marks” from someone trying to blindly put the record on the turntable. Major factory defects also must be absent; a record and label obviously pressed off center is not Near Mint. If played, it will do so with no surface noise. (NM records don’t have to be “never played”; a record used on an excellent turntable can remain NM after many plays if the disc is properly cared for.) NM covers are free of creases, ring wear and seam splits of any kind. **Note: Sometimes I can add an additional conservative grade of [NM-] or [VG++] to this guide to describe records just under [NM] or "almost [NM] perfect with a few minor flaws". VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) A good description of a VG+ record is “except for a couple minor things, this would be Near Mint.” Most collectors, especially those who want to play their records, will be happy with a VG+ record, especially if it toward the high end of the grade (sometimes called VG++). VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scuffs or very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable. VG+ covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover might have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, the most vulnerable location. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking. Covers with cut-out markings can never be considered Near Mint. Very Good (VG) Many of the imperfections found on a VG+ record are more obvious on a VG record. For many listeners, a VG record or sleeve will be worth the money. VG records have more obvious flaws than their counterparts in better shape. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song’s intro and ending. But the noise will not overpower the music otherwise. Expédition en colissimo pour la France / I ship my records with tracking number parcels, if you want it to be insured, please contact me before paying. Pochettes / Covers: NMINT Disques / Records: NMINT Jamais joués / Unplayed Graduation system: M (MINT) Sealed, never played, new in its original packaging. Packaging All our records are shipped in packaging specifically designed for vinyl in cardboard (double box) and delivered in a plastic sleeve. Note: Sometimes I can add an additional conservative grade of [NM-] or [VG++] to this guide to describe records just under [NM] or b'"'almost [NM] perfect with a few minor flawsb'"'. VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+) / EXCELLENT A good description of a VG+ record is “except for a couple minor things, this would be Near Mint.” Most collectors, especially those who want to play their records, will be happy with a VG+ record, especially if it toward the high end of the grade (sometimes called VG++). SONY SS-G1   The original  SS-G1  was made in Japan. The smaller but heavier  SS-G1mkII  was assembled and tweaked in Germany by WEGA. The  SS-G1mkIII  did see even better power handling and a filter repratee shifted up by 1Khz. Typical Sony: all three only say " G1 " on the their front and cover, whatever the actual version... All three sported a 25cm Carbocon woofer, the "acoustically grooved" front baffle and a fair directivity plot (given the price-range). THD specs show a predominance of 2nd harmonics (I can hear that:) and my ears tell me they can take a LOT of power without going haywire. My own november 1980 mkII have an ogival damped sub-enclosure holding the mid driver and although the filter board is tagged " Sony, made in Japan ", several components bear a WEGA sticker. The inside shows many corner braces plus a large, 3cm thick, flower-like shape supplementary surface glued to the back to diminish standing resonances. The 25cm tall WS-E70 feet are screwed to the underside with a huge and large (single) screw. As a few lower to mid-end Sony speakers from 1977 onward, the  G1mkII  were part of those units "tuned in Europe" for the european market and for european "ears". The low and high drivers in my mkII are  SEAS OEMs with diecast aluminium structure, the mid as well probably but it is sealed so I can't be sure... A 1980 Best Buy in the UK at any rate.

Clermont Ferrand (Puy de Dôme)
THE HARD rock highway is littered with those who could/should have made it if only Lady Luck had been smiling in their direction; none more so than Orange County four-piece Storm, who first whipped up the proverbial gale in 1979 with a self-titled album for MCA that fell unceremoniously by the wayside while others shot to fame & fortune. Down but not out, the band retrenched and reshuffled their line-up (still helmed by Jeanette Chase & Lear Stevens), making way for a second assault some four years down the line. This time, the label was different (Capitol) and the music even more confident in execution and strident in style – moving from quirky pop rock origins through to a bigger, beefier sound fusing a love of Queen and the Sweet with out‘n’out hard-hitters like Led Zeppelin & Van Halen. ‘Storm II’, originally released in 1983, although failing to propel the band to worldwide success, earned impressive critical appraisal amongst the hard rock cognoscenti (it was hailed by Kerrang! as an overlooked work of brilliance), becoming a collector’s favourite and a yardstick by which many a similar work has been measured. 24-bit remastering from original source tapes, huge story of Storm liner notes, tons of additional photos & memorabilia spread out over a 16 page full colour booklet and six previously unreleased bonus tracks! Track listing: 'Settle Down', 'Runnin' From You', 'Come Home', 'Hand In Hand', 'Anything For Your Love', 'Play With Me', 'Pez', 'Take Me Away', ' So Long'. Bonus tracks: 'Play With Me' (demo), 'Anytime' (non LP demo), 'If It's True' (non LP demo), 'Dangerous' (non LP demo), 'So Long' (demo), 'Pez SS' (demo). The booklet front cover plane is an F-111 bomber.

All You Need Is Love 5. Ashes to Ashes 6. All My Life 7. A Promise 8. Read It in Books 9. Crocodiles 10. Crystal Days 11. Ocean Rain 12. My Kingdom Album Notes The Cutter is a strange compilation with cash-in written all over it. The front sleeve reads 12 classic tracks. It's a lie. Yes, some of the songs are among the best recorded by Liverpool's finest post-punk band, but the inclusion of two bizarre covers doesn't help the collection reach any sort of classic status. Perhaps WEA Records thought fans would see The Cutter as a best-of collection, which it isn't; maybe they thought those same fans would clamor for the covers of songs by the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. To start with, the album material isn't necessarily the best of. While the songs are a just-decent sample of some of the finer moments from the band's glory days, Songs to Learn and Sing and Ballyhoo are both better introductions. Albums covered include Crocodiles, Heaven Up Here, Porcupine, Ocean Rain, and Echo & the Bunnymen. There are classics here to be sure: "The Cutter," "A Promise," and "Ocean Rain" are all glorious slices. But there are glaring omissions among these classics, including "Lips Like Sugar," "The Killing Moon," "Bring On the Dancing Horses," and "Never Stop." The Cutter might be a nice find in the used CD bin, if one is looking for one particular track and an assortment of other okay songs. The live covers certainly don't justify the album, as they serve merely to break up an otherwise interesting collection. "Paint It Black" sees Ian McCulloch butchering the classic song like a campy vampire; it actually starts out promising, but McCulloch falls apart about a minute and half in. "All You Need Is Love" just sounds stupid, as if the band had only been rehearsing it for a day; there's no passion in the performance. The Cutter would cut cleaner if its cuts included the classics. ~ Tim DiGravina WEA RECORDS / 1988 / Printed in GERMANY Boitier Cristal // Crystal Box Tous mes CD sont en état impeccable, très peu utilisés Frais de Port, Shipping cost: Pour la France: 3,50€ (+1€ par CD Supplémentaire) For Europe, Switzerland and Norvay: 5,50€ (+2€ each additional CD) Rest of the world: 7,85€ (+3€ each additional CD) MERCI de CONSULTER MES AUTRES VENTES... Gagny (Seine St Denis)
Cette semaine je mets en vente de rares EP et SP acquis auprès d'une chasseuse d'autographes particulièrement active dans les années 60, les frais de port sont groupés en cas d'achats multiples / We combine shipping fees for multiple purchased items. If the r
