Beautiful look, very nice vintage parlor sound, very decent action for a nearly 100 years old guitar, light. Will come with a vintage case 1930 era but not the original case. Had some decals at one time of its history and was sanded after. The top is very nice, no cracks. Vintage (1989) Steel drum E.C.S.  J'ai acheté ce "pan" en 1989, l'année de sa fabrication. C'est le soit-disant "Meditation" pan en Fa Pentatonique. Il est encore fabriqué par Eckardt C. Schultz (E.C.S) en Allemagne et vendu à 1150€.  30 ans plus tard je suis malheureusement poussé à vendre ce bel instrument. Je pourrais aussi fournir le support original en bois (gratuit mais avec coût de port supplémentaire)  I bought this "pan" in 1989, the year of its fabrication. It's the so-called "Meditation" pan in F Pentatonic. It is still made today by Eckhardt C. Schultz (Z.C.S) in Germany and sold for 1150€.  After 30 years I am sadly forced to sell this beautiful instrument. I can also supply the orignnal wooden stand (free but with extra shipping cost)

It sounds really gorgeous, and due to its rarity, quite unique. * I've tested it basically and can tell that it works perfectly - and what a sound ! There are one 4-positions selector on the front to select wah envelope, and three knobs on the left side, presumably for tone, gain and whatever else. There are two 2-states switches: the pedal switch commutes between wah wah and volume control. The auxiliary switch commutes the fuzz effect. There is also an extra switch on the side (see photos) but I cannot figure out what it is used for. All the components, buttons, switchs, gear, board are all original, to the screws. It is really suitable as collector.    ** It is in overall exceptionally good condition, due to the fact it has been very rarely used since the 70's. I guess that you will not see one in a such good condition before long ** It is powered by a 9-volts battery (not provided). Up for auction is a Vintage TAMA Superstar 8“ Super Maple Artwood Snare Drum. It is clean and in pretty good shape for its age. The snare strainer is the roller bed version with longer (Pearl-like) snare wires. It also hase the typical One Touch control which is complete and fully functional. This type of snare has been played by Nirvana's Dave Grohl.  You don’t see those coming up very often these days, don’t you? It is to this day the only gold coloured microphone we own, and it has such a cute little metal table stand with the Grundig four-leaf clover on it! And, more importantly, it was one of the first “vintage” microphones we acquired that did not simply sound old, funny or broken, and it piqued our interest in a very special way: It sounded fantastic, but there was buzz and hum and all sorts of unpleasant background noises mixed into the signal – and here my quest to  began. I found out that the GDM-121 is a high-impedance version of the Sennheiser MD21, a dynamic omnidirectional reporter microphone which is still being manufactured with only minor design updates, more than 60 years after its release in 1953. In terms of usefulness, this means that it is 100% functionally equal to the MD21, which was used as a reporter mic and in broadcasting. It has many advantages for these purposes – almost no handling noise, no proximity effect, incredibly sturdy (there was supposedly a show on the Sennheiser stage on some fair in the 1950s where an MD21 was dragged up and down a flight of stairs for hours, and it was still operational after this treatment). Since it was developed for vocal applications mainly, it has a presence boost above 3kHz and can withstand really high SPL. Much like with its cardioid sibling, the MD421, it’s virtually impossible to get a distorted signal out of this mic. In the studio, it can be used as a soft, jazzy kick drum mic, on guitar cabinets and on many instruments where you want to capture a mellow and natural ambient sound without very detailed transients or highs. This is because it is a large-diaphraghm dynamic omni, and as such probably unique in its properties even in most serious studio microphone collections.

Autre caractéristique intéressante: les indications d'exposition dans le viseur font appel à des diodes, en lieu et place de l'aiguille habituelle. État général bon avec quelques traces d'usage, normales pour l'âge, voir photos. Étui cuir noir en bon état avec marques d'usage et de frottement. Déclenche très bien toutes vitesses. Le photomètre semble fonctionner (diodes en forme de flèches). Cependant l’éclairage de ces diodes se fait de manière aléatoire qui me semble imparfaite et non continue (faux contacts ?). Dans le doute il est considéré comme non fonctionnel. Système de visée globalement clair sauf quelques fines particules sombres réparties ça et là sur le dépoli, ou entre l’œilleton et le prisme ou entre le dépoli et le prisme, voir photo 5. Nettoyable pour les gens compétents. Aucune incidence sur la photographie. Logement de pile très propre. Check batterie fonctionnel. Intérieur et extérieur propres. COMES WITH ITS ORIGINAL GIBSON GATOR SOFT CASE !  Here's a RARE BIRD from the Golden Era ! A true gem from 1965 ! By then, woods were on top. It still has its original Maestro Vibrola trem. This guitar is in pretty good condition for being 56 years old ! It shows normal wear and blacklights correct; this means that the varnish is 100% original with no touch-up at all. Some marks are visible on the back of the neck, around 2nd, 7th and 9th frets. There's no headstock nor body/neck crack at all. Sooo rare. How does it sounds ? Well, if you aren't used to vintage guitars, be prepared... there's such a huge difference between vintage and new guitars... even with Custom Shop guitars. Once you try vintage guitars, there's no way back. This one is no exception. Serial number is 2786XX, which points to 1965, according to Bluebook. The original Gibson gator soft case is in pretty good condition for its age and the three latches work well. Last, I will pack this beauty very well, as you can imagine. Si vous n'avez jamais joué sur une guitare vintage, préparez-vous à une énorme différence de son, même par rapport à des guitares Custom Shop ! Une fois que vous y avez goûté, impossible de s'en passer ! Son numéro de série est 2786XX, ce qui correspond à 1965. Son étui d'origine est en plutôt bon état pour ses 59 ans et les trois fermetures fonctionnent parfaitement. Bien entendu, je vais emballer cette merveille avec soin. VENDO OTRA GUITARRA MUY RARA ! UNA GIBSON SG JUNIOR DEL 1965 ! SI, UNA AUTENTICA GIBSON VINTAGE ! Esta guitarra es una joya del año 1965, época dorada en la que las maderas era soberbias. La guitarra aún lleva su puente Maestro Vibrola, que funciona perfectamente (Ojo: no es tampoco un Floyd Rose!) Esta guitarra esta en muy buen estado a pesar de sus 56 años. Muestra esas típicas marcas de uso y del tiempo (con marcas detrás del mástil, alrededor de los trastes 2, 7 y 9), pero el barniz aún está brillante y muy rojo. Hablando del barniz, pasándolo bajo luz negra, aparece 100% original. La guitarra no ha sufrido ninguna rótura (pala, cuerpo/mástil). Una vez más, la luz negra lo demuestra. Es muy raro. A nivel de sonido, si nunca probaste une guitarra vintage, vete preparando porque hay una enorme diferencia, incluso con guitarras Custom Shop ! Cuando empiezas a tocar con guitarras vintage, no hay marcha atrás ! Su número de serie es 2786XX, que corresponde al año 1965. Su estuche original está en muy buen estado, teniendo en cuenta su edad. Los tres cierres funcionan perfectamente.
