ELTON JOHN   Easier to walk away   French tape   CASSETTE 2 titres K7 – TAPE   1991   France   PHONOGRAM 868 524-4   Etat carton: très bel état – pas de marque  ni de trace d’usure (regardez mes 7 photos sous toutes les coutures). Cardboard condition: very good condition - no mark or trace of wear (look at my 7 photos from every angle). Etat cassette: très bon état -  testée et écoutée sur lecteur cassette– excellente écoute. Cassette condition: very good condition - tested and listened to on cassette player - excellent listening.     Commentaire perso : rarissime cassette (n’est pas référencée sur Discogs) – pressage français. Il faut savoir que les cassettes single (ou K7 2 titres) sont apparues sur le marché français fin 1991 et ont cessé je crois dans le courant de l’année 1994. Format qui a peu intéressé les acheteurs potentiels de musique. La cassette 2 titres prise en sandwich entre le CD 2 titres apparues au même moment (plus pratique à écouter) et le CD album, qui avait tué à l’époque le vinyl (45 tours et 33 tours). Donc les artistes qui ont pu bénéficié de ce support, pour certains titres, ces formats étaient également peu pratiques à la mise en rayon, donc peu de visibilité chez les disquaires et grandes surfaces.   D’autre part le cartonnage et donc l’emboitage de la K7 à l’intérieur, peu pratique à rentrer et à sortir ont souvent massacré la pochette.   Le petit plus : chaque K7 sera protégée par un emballage « maison » : un film plastique aux dimensions de la K7 que l’on peut enlevé et retiré   D’autres K7 2 titres dans mes annonces.     DES RECEPTION DE VOTRE PAIEMENT (DANS UN DELAI MAXIMUM DE 2 JOURS, SAUF WEEK END OU JOUR FERIE) ENVOI DE VOTRE COMMANDE.   SACHEZ QUE MES EMBALLAGES SONT ROBUSTES (sauf si l’on s’assoie dessus) ET PARFAITEMENT PROTEGES. You should know that single cassettes (or K7 2 titles) appeared on the French market at the end of 1991 and stopped, I believe, during the course of 1994. Format which did not really interest potential music buyers. The 2-track cassette sandwiched between the 2-track CD that appeared at the same time (more convenient to listen to)  and the CD album, which had killed vinyl at the time (45 and 33). Ptôse - Ignobles Limaces - Ayaa - DT 1084 - France - 1984 Ptôse was an early cult French electro wave/experimental group from Niort & formed in 1978 by Benoit Jarlan,Li Khui,Lionel Jarlan,Pascal Elineau & Patrick Pichon.Their sounds with lots of primitive electronics,drums machines & funny voices all obviously influenced The Residents as well as by groups like Tuxedomoon,Der Plan,Pyrolator.. This is their first album after released a lot of several K7 on their label: Ptôse Production Vinyl in great conditions,no hairlines & plays nice all the times!!!.. One stamp on two label side probably from an old radio station... Cover have small damage on a corners,small folds/wears front/back due a storage. Cover illustrated by Mark Beyer who works with The Residents too...
