Il se peut aussi qu'elle soit en parfaite état mais présente un poinçon ou une extrémité biseautée. C'est l'état le plus courant des disques de deuxième main. Les disques ont quelques rayures qui n'affectent pas la qualité sonore. Certains crépitements peuvent être audibles sur des platines très sensibles. VG Très bon - La pochette est usée avec des plis, des marques, des décollements, une usure des bords, des décolorations, un début de marque circulaire du disque sur la pochette. Les signes de l'âge sont présents. Le disque a des rayures et marques qui affectent la qualité sonore avec des craquements et sautements. G Pauvre L'état de la pochette est proche de celui de VG avec en plus des écritures, un papier gondolé à cause de l'humidité, des déchirures sur les bords... La qualité du son est détériorée par les nombreuses lectures, il y a un souffle et il peut y avoir des sautements et craquements. On ne distingue pratiquement plus les sillons du disque.

État : Occasion Très bon état, Used but very good condition for the vinyl Rare première presse MONO (Van Gelder) de 1963 Rare first pressing mono, 1963 (recorded January and March) Disque VG+ minimum, avec très peu de bruits de fond et crépitements. Il a été peu écouté et il joue excellent. Disque nettoyé et testé. Pochette VG avec traces d'usures localisées sur coins et bords, ancienne  trace d'humidité sur l'arriere coin gauche, qui reste encore solide. Taches légères et salissures anciennes disséminées sur l'arrière de la pochette. Présence de la pochette intérieure originale Blue Note. Elle est en très mauvais état mais sera donnée pour conserver ce document. Pochette generique ancienne mais propre  la remplaçant. VG + minimum for the vinyl record. Vinyl still glossy, hairlines marks without consequence on the audio quality, Play very well without skips, jumps etc...Label ok with no writing VG for the jacket. The sleeve has wear to all four corners, along the spine, and throughout. Stains dessiminated on the back. Old moisture trace on left down corner, now corner is solid. No writing. Contains original inner sleeve (bad condition). I let it with the album for this historic document, and furnish an old generic one, (white) more clean... Description of present selling Horace SILVER «The Stylings of Silver» BLUE NOTE BLP1562, New York USA labels.1962 Mono issue deep groove and b'"'earb'"' in dead wax both sides. Audio quality is great with rich clear Blue note sound. It's a nice Horace Silver quintet, in my opinion the surprising association of Art Farmer on trumpet and Hank Mobley on tenor fit very well. Side1: Ex+ (9/10), Visual Ex with some superficial unfeelable sleeve marks, great Ex+ audio. My initial signature in pencil paper (removable) on right side of label. Side2: Ex+ (9/10), Visual Ex with some superficial unfeelable sleeve marks, great Ex+ audio. Cover: VG (6/10), Not too bad at first sight but downgraded because of 3 damages on seams, 5 cm tearing on left top seam and center spine and a 5 cm repearable splitting on center bottom seam. There is also little tearing on bottom seam corners and a touch of stain on upper back. (see photos). My grading scale is simple with letters and figures to improve understanding. I grade each side of the record separately (first side then second side) and in the end the cover. I precise the grading with specific informations for each side and cover. I do not grade inner sleeve (possible tearing or tape on it). If you’re interested in inner sleeve condition, feel free to ask… The scale of grading is: VG-(5/10) VG(6/10) VG+(7/10) EX(8/10) EX+(9/10) To be more precise EX+: a superb record with extremely few light flaws if any, maximum of 10 seconds of repetitive tics per side or less. EX: a very nice records with few marks, maximum of 30 seconds of repetitive tics per side or less. VG+: still a nice record but with a bit more marks with a few lightly feelable, maximum of 1mn30 seconds of repetitive tics per side or less. VG: a record with some marks feelable or not, no skips still enjoyable with portions of background tics, maximum of 2 to 3 mn of repetitive tics per side. VG-: a very used record, not trashed but with numerous feelable marks, still no skips but expect maximum of 5 mn of repetitive tics per side or a bit less. Very strict regarding collectors should only bid on EX and EX+ records. I didn't have a record cleaning machine and all records could benefit an ultrasonic cleaning. To improve sound, records should also be listened to with a stylus in good shape (less than a year).
