The Germans are advancing towards the Meuse River and are running out of fuel and time to force a desperate crossing to achieve Hitler's goal of ultimate "Victory". The Allied forces are both trying to block the German advance and begin a counter-offensive to destroy the German Panzer Divisions. Alternating random activation by formation provides players with uncertainty and excitement. Each turn, players receive a varying number of activations (not all formations may move and some may move more than once!) to represent fuel shortages, aggressive generalship, command uncertainty, and piecemeal reinforcements that provides players with a rich historical feel. After units move, strengths are reduced to simulate fatigue and lack of defensive preparation. This is a game for players who love to counter-attack ! Hello, I put in sale a Tapwave Zodiac 1 in medium/good conditions. General: Visually there is no marks or alteration on the metalic parts of the device. I dont have anymore the original flap screen protector. The plastics parts seems not to have a good resistance to time : The stylus doesn't fit in his spot on the back of the Zodiac: plastics hooks on the back cracked due to time Triggers plastics parts broked when i tried to clean it (but are still functionals) - plastic part seems really fragile. Screen: It  have some small scratches on the screen. there is 2 smalls purple-ish marks on the screen (visible on the photos with). Battery: The device is working but the battery doesn't seems to works. The zodiac is sold with 2 batteries: the original one, outside, was changed because of lack of autonomy. Maybe it will works a bit when changing to the original battery ? Usabillity: The device works (with charger) - the screen calibration (stylus) seems to be OK - the joystick calibration too althought it is less sensitive in some directions (general Zodiac concern). De la même manière le plastique semble avoir mal vécu et les 2 cartouches sont abimés  après avoir tenté un nettoyage(mais fonctionnelles) - le plastique entre le devant et l'arrière de la console semble très cassant L'écran fonctionne, en bon état a priori sans pixel mort, il y a deux tâches violettes sur l'écran (défaut LCD ?) persistantes. L'écran est en bon état mais il peu y avoir des rayures mineures. La console est fonctionnelle, la calibration du stylet OK et du joystick OK malgré quelques directions qui sont moins sensibles que d'autres. La console est vendu avec la batterie originale qui est fournie en pièce détaché et une batterie de remplacement à l'intérieur qui ne fonctionne pas, la console fonctionne sur secteur uniquement. La batterie originale avait été changé car manque d'autonomie - peut être fonctionne t'elle encore un peu ? Vendu avec 2 notices + la boite (abimée par endroit - pliures et marque d'encre) + 2 chargeurs (chargeur US et Europe) + la batterie originale à part. In the linked game players have also to consider the effects of their actions on the global conflict. A Soviet player desperately defending Moscow in 1941 can little afford a Japanese attack on Vladivostok. Likewise a British player fighting Germany with only a seemingly soon-to-be-defeated Russia as an ally, will not welcome a Japanese attack on his eastern possesions unless it brings America into the war. Historically Japan went to war to obtain the resources denied her by the Allies embargo of steel and oil and because German successes appeared to offer Japan the opportunity to join a victory almost already won. The question is whether you and your allies can do any better than your historical counterparts.

An Axis attack was met by a furious Allied counter-attack which then developed into a grinding battle of attrition and maneuver that finally ended in massive Axis victory. Alternating random activation by formation provides player with uncertainty and high re-playability as no two games will be alike. Each turn player receive a varying number of activations to represent the supply levels, command confusion, fatigue and intelligence of their armies and this leads to an ebb and flow to the battle as each side is dominant at different times. After units move, strengths are educed to simulate fatigue and lack of defensive preparation making counter-attacking key to the game.
