The stylus isbrand new and boxed.  The LinnSondek LP12 (often shortened to Sondek or LP12) is atranscription turntable produced by Glasgow based Linn Products Hi-Fi Choice reviewers voted the LP12 "the most important hi-ficomponent ever sold in the UK"and The Absolute Soundranked it the second most significant turntable of all time in 2011 Thefirst Linn-badged arm, the Ittok LVII, was in production 1979–93. A3-point-mounted arm with a large-bore arm tube designed and manufactured in Japan. Astandard fitment for the LP12 Sondek throughout the eighties was Linn’s ownpickup arm, the Ittok LVII The burly Ittok used high-quality bearings, has auseful amount of adjustment of the key parameters of arm geometry, and is agood supporter of heavier moving-coil cartridges, making a fine starting pointfor revision. But it does have some coloration of its own, in part contributedby peaky arm resonances set off by energy from the cartridge. The LP12 is popular with many audiophiles around the world for its excellentability to play music with "pace, rhythm and timing. It is sometimes usedby hi-fi reviewers as a reference turntable. It'simpossible to imagine the high-end industry without the LP12". The LinnSondek was at its most popular in the golden age of vinyl playback, principallythe 1970s through to the 1980s. LINN LP12. Platine achetée neuve en 1993. Bras Akito. Cellule Denon DL 103. Crapaudine et câbles de liaisons changés lors d'une amélioration en 1996. Alimentation de base changée pour une Walhalla en 1999. Bien qu'appreciant ce type de son, mon niveau d'occupation m'empêche d'en profiter. Cette platine est quasi neuve. J'ai dû l'utiliser 50 heures au maximum depuis son achat. A venir chercher sur place. Écoute possible dans un ensemble Linn.

Rosenut plinth in excellent condition, except really tiny mark in front, which is impossible to photograph (see photos). Looks like genuine Linn plinth, but there is no back plate and series number is unknown. Top plate with extra bolt in excellent condition. Pre-cirkus bearing ir really good condition, both inner and upper platters do not shine, but in good condition for age. Origin Live external power supply and DC motor kit provides dramatic performance improvements. Basic plus tonearm technically and cosmetically ir excellent condition, dials move freely and arm sweeps smoothly. Original Linn arm cable inclueded. Original lid without any bigger marks, in excellent condition for age. Original linn box with upper inlay. Shipping to EU only.
