Lot comprenant un tract et un ticket d'entrée édités à l'occasion de l'exposition "Dada Dokumente einer Bewegung" au monastère des Carmélites de Francfort-sur-le-Main du 7 novembre au 7 décembre 1958. - Tract plié en 4 d'origine, imprimé en noir sur papier rouge. Format 14 x 20 cm. - Ticket imprimé en noir sur épais papier bleu. Format 10.7 x 15.7 cm. Une déchirure de 0.7 mm sur bord inférieur du tract rouge sinon très bon état (rares documents d'origine, pas des reproductions). Set with one leaflet and one entrance ticket published in conjunction with the exhibition "Dada Documents of a Movement" at the Carmel cloister of Frankfurt am Main from November 7 to December 7, 1958. - Tract folded in four, printed in black on red paper 14 x 20 cm. - Ticket printed in black on blue thick paper 10.7 x 15.7 cm. One tear 0.7 cm on lower edge of the red leaflet, very good condition (scarce original documents, not reproductions).

LP  33t    Titanic est un groupe de rock norvégien, originaire d'Oslo. Le groupe est formé en 1969 à Oslo en Norvège. À cette période, le groupe comprend le guitariste Janne Løseth, le bassiste Kenny Aas, le batteur John Lorck, et le percussionniste Kjell Asperud. Titanic décide ensuite de recruter le parolier britannique Roy Robinson afin de mieux se faire connaitre à l'international1. Leurs premiers singles sont I See no Reason et Searchin, extraits du premier album1. Leur premier album, homonyme, est publié en 1970 au label Columbia Records. Ils enchaînent ensuite avec Santa Fe et Sultana, et encore quelques autres titres passés sur les radios ; très influencés par la mouvance rock psychédélique de l'époque comme Uriah Heep, ils agrémentent toutefois leur musique de percussions et l'on n'est parfois pas très loin du Santana des débuts. Les arrangements des cordes et des cuivres sur les titres Mary Jane et Firewater du premier album sont l'œuvre de William Sheller dont la carrière musicale débutait. Columbia Records demandera plus tard au groupe de jouer pendant le Festival de Cannes. En octobre 1971, Titanic atteint la cinquième place de l'UK Singles Chart avec le morceau Sultana. Le groupe continue à enregistrer des albums, Return of Drakkar en 1977 et Eye of the Hurricane en 1979 sur des labels indépendants, mais tombe dans l'oubli1. Ils continuent aussi à donner des concerts jusqu'en 1984 avant de se séparer. Ils se reforment brièvement en 1991 pour enregistrer l'album Lower the Atlantic. Suit une nouvelle reformation en 2008 qui donnera l'album Ashes and Diamonds, suivi de concerts en Europe. Peu de temps après, le chanteur Roy Robinson est victime d'un AVC qui l'oblige à quitter le groupe. Les membres restants continuent néanmoins de tourner avec Janne Loseth au chant jusqu'en 2014 où il dissout le groupe. Vers les années 2000/2010, le label Repertoire Records rééditera leurs albums. L'album Eagle Rock est réédité en CD avec en bonus un 45 tours de 1972 : Rain 2000/Blond et un 45 tours de 1974 : Macumba/Midnight Sadness. The disc plays well, and does not skip. Listened regularly on my turntable with Ortofon OM 10 cartridge. Background noises, as is logical on a record of this age. (May require ultrasonic cleaning, I don't have one) Note: cracking at the start of each side. A stain visible in the photo which causes cracking on the last piece of side two. Real dress from the civil war era, circa 1865, in brown silk bengaline. It is composed of 3 pieces: blouse, skirt, and over-skirt or b'"'apronb'"'. - The details and finishes that make up the dress make it possible to date it to the end of the 1860s. Transition between the crinoline and the tournure, and the end of the pagoda sleeves. The blouse has a b'"'tailb'"' at the back, which will be seen frequently later. - The blouse is lined in cotton. It is whaled (a whale has been replaced). The buttons, reported, are not original. - The skirt and overskirt are lined in glazed cotton. The set is in EXCEPTIONAL condition! There is no fading or wear to the fabric; only about ten small holes which are, for the majority, in the bottom of the skirt, of a size lower than a pinhead. There is a small tear inside the opening of the skirt (see last photo): it is slight and it cannot be seen but I prefer to point it out. Elle est composée de 3 pièces: chemisier, jupe, et sur-jupe ou b'"'tablierb'"'. - Les détails et finitions qui constituent la robe permettent de la dater fin des années 1860. Transition entre, la crinoline et la tournure, et la fin des manches pagodes. Le chemisier possède une b'"'queueb'"' à l'arrière, que l'on verra fréquemment plus tard. - Le chemisier est doublé en coton. Il est baleiné (une baleine a été remplacée). Les boutons, rapportés, ne sont pas d'origine. - La jupe et la sur-jupe sont doublées en coton glacé. L'ensemble est dans un état EXCEPTIONNEL ! Il n'y a aucune décoloration ni usure du tissu; seulement une dizaine de petits trous qui se trouvent, pour la plupart, dans le bas de la jupe, d'une taille inférieure à une tête d'épingle. Il y a une petite déchirure à l'intérieur de l'ouverture de la jupe (voir dernière photo): c'est léger et cela ne se voit pas mais je préfère le signaler. The always subtly surprising tonal colors in de Preissac's arrangements recall the arranging work of his compatriot, flautist Christophe dal Sasso's Exploration (Nocturne, 2006). There are further parallels. Drummer Andréa Michelutti, like Blakey, favors the booming lower range of his kit. De Preissac, for his part, calls to mind some of the best qualities of the playing of various Jazz Messengers pianists (Horace Silver, Bobby Timmons, Cedar Walton, Mulgrew Miller): a round, gospel-tinged sound, a slight florid tendency to the baroque, all the better to be heard over and between the large-ish ensemble. In de Preissac's case, these characteristics are overlaid with classical elements as well (as on his solo on "Minor's Mood"). As a brief cross-section of the players' strengths, listen to the sequence of short solos on "Jungleblues," which sounds for all the world like a Jazz Messengers show closer.
