This belongs to Luxman's big push in all directions after the foundation of Luxman America and its 50th anniversary in 1975. Lineups started to be multiplied, the actual making of the components got spread over more suppliers and contractors and advertising took on more regular and lavish modes. In other words: this is Luxman's true "golden age", products-wise and sales-wise. The PD441 and PD444 are based on the same direct-drive engineering, the 441 being the single tonearm version and bestseller of the two. Center of the spinning is the Load-Free Spindle structure: by opposing two magnets inside the motor structure, the actual load applied to the bearing is lifted to a fifth of its normal value. The motor's name is MDS152C (or MDS-102C [mkI or mkII]). Magnets aren't added but the motor itself is structured so as to do the above - no leaks or perturbations of the necessary magnetic flux. The platter is however maintained at large and heavy specifications to deal with 5Hz...10Hz faster load variations. This system allows lightweight yet fully and inherently regulated moving parts. The chassis and feet mix materials to do away with resonances: two slabs of 3,2mm iron plates sandwiching a high-density chipboard for the base, neoprene rubber, springs, silicon grease, felt and iron rings for the high feet which are 10mm height-adjustable. Sounds comes out nicely, arm lift is firm, tone arm height is easily adjustable, headshell is easy to remove and replace,..., I will send to the buyer all material related documentation for easy setup and items fine tuning.  Quick Testing Only, but everything seems working correctly, some deep cleaning could be done, the tonearm may be tighten at some points but I missed these very small screwdrivers that are needed to do it. Excellent amplificateur vintage audiophile LUXMAN LV-113 de la fin des années 80. Incorpore son propre convertisseur numérique/analogique (DAC) Puissance: 2x80 watts efficaces sous 8 ohms d'impédance. Très belle fabrication avec façade aluminium. Possibilités d'utilisation très étendues avec entrées pour 1 tourne-disque, 1 tuner, 1 CD, 1 LD(Aux) et 2 magnétophones avec monitor et gestion de la copie entre les deux machines. Sorties pour 2 paires d'enceintes et 1 casque stéréo. Réglages balance grave et aigu et filtre subsonique. Correction physiologique (Loudness) disponible. On trouve de plus deux entrées numériques directes (1 coaxiale et 1 optique) ainsi qu'une entrée/sortie directe pour un enregistreur numérique (Minidisc, DAT, Graveur CD, Ordinateur) Un commutateur Line Straight permet de passer le signal directement de l'entrée vers l'ampli de puissance sans passer par la balance et les correcteurs de tonalité. Très bel état d'aspect, fonctionnement impeccable testé et vérifié. Écoute superbe et très musicale, grande réserve de puissance pour une restitution vivante et dynamique. Très belle image stéréo.
