Nikon AF-S VR Nikkor 300mm f/2.8 G IF-ED and Nikon AF-S Teleconverter TC-20E III. Bought new and single owner lens in perfect working order with clear optics. Lens in mint condition, very light signs of wear on Kirk lens plate and lens hood. VR operates normally, AF is a bit squeaky which is typical of this lens and absolutely normal. Comes complete with all original accessories, Nikon lens case and user manual. Nikon Drop in 52mm Circular Polarizer C-PL1L Glass Filter included. Original Nikon lens plate replaced by Kirk LP47 lens plate. Front Nikon lens cap replaced by LensCoat lens cap. This is an Intrepid 8x10 camera in excellent working condition. The only small point worth noting is that I shortened one of the tabs on the ground glass holder in order to allow the back to be closed in landscape mode - see images. The rest of the camera is in near perfect condition with only some superficial marks on the wood. The glass is chip and scratch free. The bellows are light-tight and undamaged. The focus mechanism is smooth and works as normal. Everything hinges and locks down as it should. /// *** /// - In addition to the 8x10 camera I'm including for FREE a semi-home made reducing back for 5x7 format, which I made from a spare 8x10 back I had, so you can be sure that it fits the camera body correctly without light leaks. Here we have a beautiful example of Nikon's iconic fast fifty. This is the "S·C" version, which as far as I know was only made in the pre-Ai F mount. This lens does have an Ai mount, so it was presumably modified at some point: the conversion is expertly done, perhaps by Nikon itself (I think you could send in your pre-AI lenses for modification for a while). It will now work with modern Nikon SLRs and DSLRs.  Anyway, this lens is in excellent condition. Glass is clean and clear, no fungus, no haze. There is a tiny mark on the rear element (visible in the second photo) but otherwise the glass appears pristine and unmarked. Iris blades are clean and snappy. Aperture selector moves nicely, focus is even. Includes original front and rear caps (the classy old Nippon Kogaku type that feel like bakelite) and the lens's HS-1 hood.  Be sure to check out my other sales.
