EX++ the cd looks really fine but you can see (under a light if you check carefully) few minor surface marks. Usually light details but that is enough to see the cd not new. EX+ the cd is still in great condition but you can see more little surface marks (always light, not deep) and they are easier to see. EX or EX- cd has many scratches but still not deep. no damage.
