Technical condition: fast valves and slides move smoothly and lightly, very good compression Visual condition: no dents, no dings, minimal signs of use Finish: instrument in original silver finish, about 100% Excellent condition. This trumpet was a special order. Because it was not in the catalogue. This is what Schilke says about this fabulous trumpet: The largest, free blowing Schilke C trumpet available. The CX5 Traditional Custom Series trumpet is one of the largest, free blowing Schilke C trumpets available. The extra-large straight bore and medium throat bell makes this trumpet extremely open, with a large sound and excellent projection, but with slightly more control than the CX4. The CX5 trumpet is available in two variations—a fixed yellow brass bell, or a tunable yellow brass bell—each designed to customize the instrument performance to the player. Question esthétique, il lui manque le logo et le vinyle du revêtement avait mal vieilli, du coup il a été enlevé et le bois a bénéficié d'une couche de vernis qui le protège bien et lui donne cet aspect unique. L'intérieur est impeccable, et question fonctionnement, elle est nickel. Le cordon d'alim a été changé. Elle est sorti de chez Marshall en février 1969, c'est un des derniers de cette fameuse série la plus réputée des plexi ! - Tout aussi rare, le cab 2032 (tall 4x12) plus difficile à dater (probablement de 1971/1972 d'après les HP), tout d'origine, qui a toujours son revêtement vinyle dans son jus... Panneaux en contreplaqué, poignées métal, tissu basketweave brown "2 tones". 4xHP Celestion G12M Greenback T1221 en 25W/16 ohms/75 Hertz. Il manque le logo et les roulettes (que je n'ai jamais eues). Ce cab est à l'origine concu pour une utilisation basse/lead organ, autant vous dire qu'il encaisse tout sans broncher ! L'ensemble est juste.... Phénoménal. Landau told John Suhr that he'd like the OD-100 Standard+'s Channel 2 to be like an early-70's British amp that he owned and adored. John borrowed Landau's amp and tweaked away, eventually coming up with a brand new Channel 2 and a new output section that duplicated and even surpassed the sound that Mike had come to love. The OD-100 Classic was born! The Channel 2 of the OD-100 Classic has much less gain than Channel 2 of either the OD-100 SE+ or the OD-100 Standard+. It's definitely more of a vintage voicing – like that of cranked non-master-volume amps with EL-34 output tubes – but you have the flexibility of the master volume to get that cranked sound and feel at moderate volume levels. Besides the completely new preamp circuit for Channel 2, the OD-100 Classic features the silver "Plexi-style" output transformer and EL-34 output tubes in the power section for a more authentic vintage British sound.  The OD-100 ML+ complements the OD-100 Classic with more gain on CH2 (think early ZZ Top, late AC/DC, early Van Halen and other classic rock sounds of the 70's and early 80's) with a more forgiving response, which makes it an absolute joy to play.
