Collector légendaire, « E.T. the Extraterrestrial Storybook » retrace l'histoire du film narrée par Michael Jackson avec la musique légendaire de John Williams. Il inclut la chanson inédite « Someone In The Dark » chantée par Michael. Ce coffret est difficilement trouvable aujourd'hui car lors de sa sortie en novembre 1982, la maison de disques de Michael (CBS Records) s'est plainte devant la Cour Suprême de New York que MCA Records (qui éditait le Storybook) ne respectait pas les conditions sous lesquelles Michael Jackson avait été autorisé à participer à ce projet ; à savoir que l’album ne devait pas sortir avant Noël pour ne pas interférer dans les ventes de « Thriller » (dont la sortie était imminente). Au terme d’un procès retentissant, il fut reconnu que MCA Records avait l’intention d’utiliser de manière abusive le nom de Jackson. L’album « E.T. Storybook » (disponible en version vinyle ou K7) fut retiré de la vente après être resté un mois dans les bacs des détaillants aux USA. Le coffret (31x31cm) vendu ici comprend le 33t, un livret de 8 pages en japonais et un livret couleurs de 24 pages en anglais. Contenu en bon état général. Coffret éraflé.
