X-RARE JVC MF-55LS Hi-Fi 3 IN 1 Music System This is a fantastic audio system from 1971 made by JVC in Japan. The cassette deck section is a one motor unit with mechanically controlled transport. It has manual EQUALIZER and BIAS selection for Normal, Fe-Cr and Chrome tapes. Recording level is manually adjustable with two needle type VU meters. ​Instead of Dolby noise reduction this unit uses a JVC proprietary noise reduction system, the ANRS (Automatic Noise Reduction System) and the Super ANRS. The turntable section is a belt drive manual unit with S tonearm and a JVC cartridge. The radio section uses a beautiful tuning scale that stretches across the front edge of the unit. The amplifier delivers 25 W/channel @ 4 ohm. For an external source there is an auxiliary input at the back and there is provision for two sets of loudspeakers, one set for DIN plugs and the other one for bare wire. Le container à piles a subit l'oxydation et il faut donc le bricoler pour qu'il fonctionne correctement (Ce sont les fils visibles sur les photos). La plaque portant le numéro de série s'est décollée et n'est pas présente. La camera est livrée avec le module quartz 25 images par seconde.  - L'objectif Schneider 6-70 f:1,4 semble bien fonctionner. Les lentilles sont a nettoyer il y a quelques petites traces de moisissures. Pas de rayures ni traces de nettoyage. Cet ensemble est vendu non testé avec un film. This is a nice example of version of the B8 with a variable shutter (the B-8VS). The camera appears to work: motor runs properly at different speeds, viewfinder is reasonably clear, viewfinder frame size changing works. Lens are clean and clear, apertures click precisely. Turret switches nearly. Focus on the 12.5 mm is smooth, but the grease seems to have hardened in the 35 mm lens -- I can't turn it away from infinity. This reduces the number of moving parts and total mass so frequently a rumble producing factor. Motor rotor velocity, another rumble originator, is precisely governed by a dependable Wein Bridge transistorized oscillator. It's frequency is varied exactly (by a gold plated switch) to change the speed of the motor and these adjustments may be viewed instantly on the built-in stroboscope. Motor rotor speed on the TD-125 has been reduced to an incomparable 250rpm at 33 1/3rpm turntable speed.
