DISCOGRAPHIE complète de INNA DE YARD (original band 2004-2011) released on CD   + RARES BONUS CDs - EXCELLENT ROOTS REGGAE -  Cette enchère est une occasion rarissime pour les fans du groupe Inna De Yard ou d'autres collectionneurs de REGGAE de pouvoir acquérir la collection complète des CDs réalisés par le groupe original, sur le label Makasound, entre 2004 et 2008. Elle totalise 10 CDs au total, quelle sacrée série ! Des chanteurs et musiciens ‘de légendes’ sont immortalisés ‘dans l’arrière cour’ avec et chez Earl Chinna Smith. Je propose non seulement cette série mythique, mais j’y ajoute des BONUS très rares, voire introuvables : 1/ le CD ‘See and Hear’ : le groupe était allé en Suède en 2011. Les musiciens avaient profité de ce séjour pour enregistrer en studio quelques nouveaux morceaux, avec des musiciens locaux ! ‘voir et écouter’ (‘see and hear’) : c’est du très lourd !!! 2/ le lot de cartes postales ‘promo’ de Makasound de l’époque : de superbes dessins des musiciens qui ont été immortalisés  …   dont certains nous ont quittés …  3/ mes ‘bonus personnels’ : j’avais enregistré des diffusions radio de concerts du groupe en 2009, puis un autre concert en LIVE, en juillet 2010 à la Plage Glaz’Art à Paris… j’offre donc ces excellents enregistrements avec ce lot ! The musicians had taken advantage of this stay to record some new songs ‘inna de studio’, along with local musicians!  ‘See and hear' tracks are awesome !!! 2/ the set of Makasound's 'promo' postcards of the time: beautiful drawings of the musicians who have been immortalized... some of them are no longer with us...  RIP 3/ my 'personal bonuses': I have had recorded radio broadcasts of the band's concerts in 2009, then another LIVE concert in July 2010 at the Plage Glaz'Art in Paris... so I offer these excellent recordings with this package! Eocene (Priabonian) (38 - 33.9 mil y) - El Argoub, Western Sahara, Morocco This is a wonderful rare tooth of Basilosaurus, one of the first genera of whales. Basilosaurus was at its time the largest animal on Earth. It could be 15 to 18 metres long and weighed about 60 tons. These teeth are found in a hard sand layer and are usually broken in the layer. This tooth was also broken in the layer too and was stabilized directly after the find and treated with a preservative. Where the tooth was broken there is a small restoration. This tooth measures no less than 11 cm long and 2,4 cm wide. Wonderful tooth and an asset to any collection. The photos speak for themselves.

She had seen the Graffiti Bridge movie several times and had contacted Prince saying the movie spoke to her and reflected things she had written in her own notebook. He recorded and submitted Love... Thy Will Be Done in December 1990, and Martika loved what she heard; her record company encouraged her to work further with Prince, and he quickly recorded further tracks. Martika's Kitchen, Spirit and Don't Say U Love Me were recorded in December 1990, or January 1991. Martika simply replaced Prince's vocals with her own in early 1991 (adding some additional lyrics, resulting in her co-writing credit), and additional instrumentation and background vocals were recorded by her musicians in New York. 1. Similarly, the songwriting has its own flavor. Hornsby wrote seven of the nine songs with his brother John Hornsby, and they create their own world, a working-class environment of longing and loneliness set against the background of the Virginia Tidewater area. (The album cover displays a sepia-toned photograph of the band set over another photograph of the long Chesapeake Bay Bridge.) The lyrics are lightly poetic and restrained, for the most part. The exception is the title song (written by Bruce Hornsby alone), a brave if somewhat clumsily written attack on the heartless right-wing politics of the mid-'80s, as the U.S. suffered through a second Reagan administration determined to roll back civil rights gains. The boldness of the statement and the lovely piano theme more than compensate for the awkward writing, however, making the song one of the album's most memorable. And that's saying a lot when the competition includes the engaging "Mandolin Rain" and the appealingly romantic "Every Little Kiss" (Hornsby's other sole writing credit). Perhaps it shouldn't be a surprise that the music is so accomplished. Hornsby was no teenage neophyte when he made it, having kicked around the music business and gotten into his thirties, and the band includes such veterans as David Mansfield, who may be remembered as a member of Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder troupe and the Alpha Band, as well as being a film composer. Sometimes a debut album just happens to be the first music most people get to hear by a mature talent, and that's the case here on the debut album of the year. Mavis Staples ‎– Time Waits For No One Label:Paisley Park ‎– 9 25798-2 Format:CD, Album Pays:US Date:1989 Etat / Grading: Très bon; comme neuf / Very Good, like new Time Waits For No One is the seventh solo studio album by American R&B and gospel singer Mavis Staples (her first on Paisley Park Records), and her first to include input by Prince. Six of the album's eight songs are written, produced and largely performed by Prince, and he is listed as the executive producer of the whole album (although he is not believed to have had any input on the two tracks not written by him). First steps Prince (through manager Bob Cavallo) approached Mavis Staples about recording an album in Autumn 1987 after seeing her perform as part of The Staple Singers in August 1987 at The Forum, Inglewood, CA, USA. The group had been unsigned for 13 years, and Mavis Staples soon signed with Paisley Park Records. Recording process Work on the album began in February 1988, when Prince recorded Interesting. He sent the track, along with Jaguar (a vault track recorded in January 1987, originally intended for Sheena Easton), to Mavis Staples in Memphis, TN, USA, where she recorded lead vocals on both tracks using producers Al Bell, Homer Banks and Lester Snell at Ardent Studios.
