DEFECTIVE / VINTAGE P3 450Mhz/128m Cette vente porte sur une tour (unité centrale) d'ordinateur. Voici ses caractéristiques: - Intel Pentium 3 450Mhz  - Carte mère Tyan Tsunami - Carte vidéo AGP non identifiée mais basique avec un port VGA bleu à l'arrière - 128mo de sd-ram - 8go de disque dur IDE - Boitier ATX beige blanc (comme celui de beaucoup de PC il y à 20 ans de celà) - Carte réseau PCI Ethernet RTL8139D - Carte son Creative Sound Blaster 5.1 PCI Cet ordinateur est du matériel "vintage", c'est à dire obsolète et destiné à un usage avec des applications d'époque DOS/Windows 95/98. Il ne fera tourner aucuns jeux ou programmes récents. La machine affiche le bios puis indique les paramètres perdus. Ensuite, 9 fois sur 10 il sera impossible d'avoir un démarrage normal de windows. En jouant avec les (très, très) nombreuses options dans le bios on peut parfois le voir aller plus ou moins loin avant de planter. Je sait également que la machine fonctionnait avant que la pile de bios ne soit morte et n'ait perdu les réglages; mais ne connais pas les réglages d'origines à mettre en place. Peut-être que la carte mère, le processeur ou autre on un défaut. Je n'ai toutefois plus aucun composants d'époques pour tester le tout. Je vends donc le tout en l'état défectueux. Je considère le tout comme défectueux/en panne. Pas de retour/rachat. Le matériel se destine à un connaisseur/bricoleur de vieille électronique qui saura quoi en faire. Most of the time it's then impossible to properly boot up windows (it will crash or reboot or bluescreen or freeze or whatever during boot or shortly after most of the time). By playing with the (very, very) numerous bios settings you can have it go further before crashing;  but i haven't figured out any wholy working settings sorry. I do know it used to work properly before storage and the bios battery dying however. Maybe the motherboard or cpu or something else have an issue, but i have no other spare parts of that era to test the hardware with. Therefore i'm selling it as in defective. Please note this hardware is considered defective. I will not recover it nor buy it back. No returns. It is intended for a tinkerer that'll know what to do with it. I've reinstalled a fresh SunOs 5.5, the computer is stable and works well. The NVRAM was changed not so long ago, so the computer does start without issue to SunOs. This means the so called bios/NVRAM settings are working without issue, and the computer does keep it's MAC address.  The original NVRAM will be provided if you want to create a mod in the future. Ram was tested and has no defect. The hard drive is working well, I've done a dban prior the installation and there were no defective clusters or errors. The hard drive does make some noises, I don't think this is one issue but this have to be noticed. You can refer for the picture for the overall shape of the computer, it would need a good clean and there are some scratches and signs of yellowing. No visible cracks.
