This curiosity is a full medical Nikkor kit for extreme macro photography (up to 3X magnification). It includes: - the Medical Nikkor C 200 mm f/5.6 lens with integrated ring flash and modeling lights, including original front and rear caps, power plug cap - 6 Nikon accessory lenses for controlling magnification - Nikon LA-1 AC universal power unit to drive lens strobe and lights, including cable to connect to lens - PC sync cable - Nikon Safety Cover to put on the camera's hot shoe, preventing shock when using this setup - Medical Nikkor case (moderate wear) I hooked up the power supply (EU plug adapter included) and tested the strobe and pilot lights: everything works. Glass is clean and clear, no fungus, no haze, no marks. Accessory lenses are in very good condition. My guess is this thing saw saw relatively little service after its initial purchase. Nikon F3 35mm SLR film camera body, with strap, focusing screen and front cap. Sold for parts or repair as it is not working correctly.  Externally this body has some cosmetic signs of wear and age, but no obvious dents or cracks. When batteries are installed the shutter fires, but always at the same speed, irrespective of the shutter speed dial. The frame counter stays stuck on zero, even when a whole film has been wound through the camera. This will need to be repaired. The electrics seem to be working - when fresh batteries are installed the viewfinder readouts function. When no batteries are installed the shutter won't fire.  The focusing screen is in good condition, it's clean with some minor marks and specks of dust. The mirror is good, with minor signs of use. The lens mount seems to be functional - lenses mount and release correctly. The film chamber is clean and tidy, the pressure plate is good and the shutter curtain looks OK too. It will need new light seals and mirror damper foam. The flash is automatic but it can be forced or blocked by pressing simulteanously one of the buttons on the front and the shutter release. The camera is turned on instantly by opening the lens cover. This really simple way of operation along with the motorized film advance allows for light-minded photography. Everything works as it should and everything is clean. The camera is in pretty good shape however some tiny bits of paint can be seen missing here and there. The case is clean too but the coating at the edges tends to deteriorate (see photo n°1).
