The aperture is snappy, with clean blades that can be set easily and accurately.  Most of the 35mm have a maximum opening of 2.8. This one have a bigger apperture of 2, it is a higher spec version. As you can see on the first picture, some light fungus is present on the edge of some lenses. This explains the low price. The lens is provided with a front cap and a back cap. Nikon AF Nikkor ED 300mm f4 autofocus prime lens, with front and rear caps. In good condition and in full working order, though the focus can be noisy (details below). Externally this lens is in very nice condition, with only light signs of use. The glass is also good, it's clean, clear and free of haze and fungus. There is one tiny mark on the front element, which doesn't affect image quality, and it's otherwise unmarked. As with any used lens, there are a few specks of internal dust. The aperture blades are excellent, they're clean and free of oil, the aperture ring clicks well through the stops and the iris is snappy. The AF servo motor can be noisy - sometimes the screw-drive gear makes a high-pitched noise when refocusing between near and far subjects (or vice versa). This is apparently a common problem on this lens, but it shouldn't affect performance. The autofocus is accurate, but the noise could be disturbing if, for example, you're photographing wildlife. In manual focus the gear will make a similar high-pitched noise if you focus quickly. For normal fine focusing it doesn't make this noise, you have to move the barrel quite quickly to provoke it. In any case, I have set a lower price to reflect the issue. The removable filter holder works well and the included Nikon L37c is in good condition, with minor signs of use. The built-in hood is slightly dented but also still works very well. When tested the lens produces sharp, contrasty images. I often have similar or compatible items for sale, see my shop for details. Nikon F90x in excellent +++ condition. Only very small use marks on the bottom. All functions work perfectly, super clean viewfinder, light seal are good. The camera has almost no sign of use. Comes with original Nikon Clear front cap, sync and remote caps and the eyepiece. The camera was film tested and all functions are OK. As you probably know, the rubber coating on the back of these camera becomes sticky with time and has to be removed. I removed the back, cleaned the sticky coating very carefully, and polished the whole back to a glossy piano black finish, with a plastic polish, so the back looks perfectly smooth, making a nice contrast with the  matte parts on the camera. Le positionnement des différents boutons et molettes ne sont pas sans rappeler les modèles récents de la marque Nikon. Le dos des Nikon F100 présente souvent l'inconvénient de devenir très collant:  celui-ci est impeccable ! Son dos n'est pas collant !
