Ils reposent sur un piètement tripode.     Époque : Fin XIXème Dimensions : H :54 x l :38cm   Le chandelier est une pièce de mobilier d’église présent dans chaque église et posé sur l’autel.    Le grand chandelier à plusieurs branches prend le nom de candélabre.   Son utilisation remonte aux origines même de l’église et est lié de manière évidente et indissoluble au symbole de la Lumière comme expression de Foi, Espoir et Résurrection du Christ. Le chandelier était autrefois posé par terre et uniquement dans une période successive a été disposé sur l’autel avant le début de la célébration pour être rangé après la Messe.    Au Xème siècle les Statuta Ecclesiae antiquae décrétèrent que l’acolyte sur le point de prononcer ses vœux devait recevoir dans ses mains un chandelier avec le cierge.   Le Concile de Trente établit une codification très précise pour le service d’autel, composé de six chandeliers à utiliser pendant la Messe et sept chandeliers pour le Pontifical du Pape ou pour celui d’un Évêque. "Streets of Philadelphia" is a song written and performed by American rock musician Bruce Springsteen for the film Philadelphia (1993) starring Tom Hanks, an early mainstream film dealing with HIV/AIDS. Released as a single in 1994, the song was a hit in many countries, particularly in Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, and Norway, where it topped the singles charts. In the United States, the single peaked at number nine on the Billboard Hot 100. The song received acclaim and went on to win the Academy Award for Best Original Song and four Grammy Awards: Song of the Year, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Vocal Performance, Solo, and Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television. In 2004, it finished at number 68 on AFI's 100 Years...100 Songs survey of top tunes in American cinema. The group has a distinct sound of its own, often led by Hornsby's bright piano chords and elastic tenor, with cohesive and evocative arrangements; there is new age music here, as well as jazz and country, and the mixture is presented naturally by musicians who seem to have been playing with each other for some time. Similarly, the songwriting has its own flavor. Hornsby wrote seven of the nine songs with his brother John Hornsby, and they create their own world, a working-class environment of longing and loneliness set against the background of the Virginia Tidewater area. (The album cover displays a sepia-toned photograph of the band set over another photograph of the long Chesapeake Bay Bridge.) The lyrics are lightly poetic and restrained, for the most part. The exception is the title song (written by Bruce Hornsby alone), a brave if somewhat clumsily written attack on the heartless right-wing politics of the mid-'80s, as the U.S. suffered through a second Reagan administration determined to roll back civil rights gains. The boldness of the statement and the lovely piano theme more than compensate for the awkward writing, however, making the song one of the album's most memorable. EX++ the cd looks really fine but you can see (under a light if you check carefully) few minor surface marks. Usually light details but that is enough to see the cd not new. EX+ the cd is still in great condition but you can see more little surface marks (always light, not deep) and they are easier to see. EX or EX- cd has many scratches but still not deep. no damage. Cd plays fine. less than EX- when the condition is less than EX I don t grade it VG because in french "VG" means "VERY GOOD" and I can t say a cd with many visible scratches is in very good condition. so under Ex/EX-, I will only describe the cd condition with words like: "many visible surface marks or many scratches or deep scratches" all the CD I list plays fine despite their condition less than EX. anyway if one day a cd doesn t play fine, the buyer can send it back and get a refund. if a cd has scratches they go through silver layer and usual we can see they from both sides of the CD I usually don t sell it or damages will be described in item s condition.
