Le CDTV (acronyme de « Commodore Dynamic Total Vision », backronym d'un acronyme de « Compact Disc Television », lui donnant un double sens) était une plateforme multimédia développée par Commodore International et lancée en mars 1991. CDTV était essentiellement un ordinateur domestique Commodore Amiga 500 avec un lecteur de CD-ROM et une télécommande. Avec le clavier, la souris et le lecteur de disque en option, il a acquis les fonctionnalités de l'Amiga. Commodore a commercialisé la machine comme un appareil multimédia domestique tout-en-un dans un boîtier semblable à une chaîne stéréo plutôt qu'un ordinateur. En tant que tel, il visait le même marché que le Philips CD-i. The 400 isos contain everything, games on CDTV, as well as applications, public domain stuff, demos and music, etc. You will also find the kickstart rom, You do not need to have an amiga CDTV to use them (Compatible with FS-UAE, Amiga Forever, Win-UAE, etc...). The CDTV (an acronym for b'"'Commodore Dynamic Total Visionb'"', a backronym of an acronym for b'"'Compact Disc Televisionb'"', giving it a double meaning) was a multimedia platform developed by Commodore International and launched in March 1991. CDTV was essentially a Commodore Amiga 500 home computer with a CD-ROM drive and remote control. With the optional keyboard, mouse, and disk drive, it gained the functionality of the Amiga. Commodore marketed the machine as an all-in-one home multimedia appliance in a home stereo-like case rather than a computer. As such, it targeted the same market as the Philips CD-i. Unfortunately for both Commodore and Philips, the expected market for multimedia appliances did not materialize, and neither machine met with any real commercial success. The original 2.0 Kickstart ROM has been swapped for a licenced 3.1 One brand new CHIP RAM extension card in inserted in the slot bring a total of 2 Mo Chip RAM. All this RAM is very convenient for WHD Load (fast ram) and to run multiple programs at once (chip ram). As an extra, I can include a CF card reader with a CF card that includes 3.1 Workbench. Original PSU is included. It is the heavy one from the UK. It is fully compatible with French and European voltages. The april 1988 crack intro for Barbarian welcomed ED 209, The Destroyer and Viral Empath to the group, and also contained a full memberlist further listing Ermida, Lord Blitter, Chatterbox, The Big Fat Lamer, Skylight, The Hobbit, The Agnostic, Ed 209, Viral Empath, Necromancer, Magnum, The Visitor, The Destroyer, Mack, Master George (-Bermuda Triangle-), Flasher 501 and Sensei as members.
