Il se compose d'une eprom, il suffit d'enlever l'eprom N°17C de votre PCB (aucune soudure n'est nécessaire car elle est installé sur un support tulipe) et de la remplacer par celle que je fournis. L'envoi sera effectué par lettre suivie, l'eprom sera protégée par une capsule en plastique pour que les pins ne soient pas abimés. Celle-ci sera envoyé le lendemain de votre paiement. La ROM P1 a été remplacée par une EPROM avec les deux versions de la ROM et la possibilité de choisir avec un interrupteur si on souhaite jouer à la version originale de METAL SLUG 2 ou la version TURBO avec beaucoup moins de ralentissements. Il n'y a pas besoin d'ouvrir la cartouche de jeu pour modifier la position de l'interrupteur, un simple trombone permet de modifier (hors tension) la version à travers la fente de la cartouche de jeu. La modification est réversible, il suffit de remettre la ROM P1 en place et de supprimer l'interrupteur, aucune piste n'a été coupée, les circuits imprimés sont 100% originaux. This is a small, pre-assembled and tested board meant to be used as a replacement for faulty NEO-BUF custom chips on SNK NeoGeo boards like the MV1A, MV1B, NeoGeo CD... How to install Remove the faulty NEO-BUF chip with hot air, remove the remaining solder on the PCB pads with solder braid if the surface isn't perfectly flat. Clean up the eventual flux residue with IPA or acetone. Place the NEO-BUF replacement board in the right direction (see pin 1 mark), align it precisely, solder the 4 corners using a generous amount of flux, then drag-solder all the sides. The small castellated contacts will "attract" solder by capillary action. Make sure none of the contacts are bridged. If you decide to install the board with hot air, make sure you don't knock off the board's own chips when the solder will reflow.
