Paire vintage francais

These vintage French net curtains show a country village scene of people making their way through flower gardens, over a river and towards houses on the hill, with trees, clouds and mountains in the background.   The main colour is white, with features highlighted in pastel red and green shades.  They can be hung from a pole or rail through the eyelets at the top. They are in unused condition, intended to be cut up the centre to make a pair of curtains, but still uncut apart fom a small length at the bottom. See photos and zoom in to see details. The total width is 90cms but when divided will make two x 45 cm curtains.  The length is 118 cms, including the fringe. In excellent condition. From Normandy, France.

This is a pair of  tiered net curtains which have a motif of country cottages with trees and gardens, and mountains in the background. They can be hung from a curtain rod or pole, using the eyelets at the top.  They could if necessary be cut across the tiers to shorten them. A lovely pair of French Vintage Curtain Tie Backs, Thick Rope Curtain Passementerie Ties Pretty vintage rope style curtain tie backs in shades of green. There are a mix of colours including stripes also. They are quite large and could hold full and heavy curtains. They will add an elegance to any window dressing. In good vintage condition, with some signs of age. There is the odd little loose thread that is hard to see but really they are in good clean condition. They have a loop to attach to your wall hook. This very attractive vintage French 8 arm chandelier is in the style of a tied bouquet. From the centre bar comes an array of pretty green leaves. foliage and lily flowers in shades of pink. The 8 arms form part of the tied bouquet feature at the bottom of the chandelier and are scrolled leading to pink flower shaped candle drip holders. The candle drips are beige hard plastic and are in keeping with the chandelier. The chandelier hangs from a 1 link chain bar and flower style ceiling rose. This wonderful chandelier is very attractive with lots of detail and would add a touch of French country style to your home decor. They can be cut width ways for shorter bistro curtains or pelmets. Easy to hang on a curtain wire or narrow curtain rod using the eye-let holes.  Each panel measures: 61 x 57m (x2) Total of 4 panels to each curtain. This very pretty tiered net curtain panel has a motif of birds...thrushes, probably...sitting on branches.  The main colour is white with details picked out in subtle shades of amber and green It can be hung from a curtain rod or pole, using the eyelets at the top.  It could if necessary be cut across the tiers to shorten, or made into two smaller curtains. Thanks for looking at this stylish pair of sconces/wall lights in an art deco /modernist style. The frames are made of a mixture of brushed steel and chrome plated metal. The globe shaped shades are white semi-opaque shiny glass.  The brushed steel is in solid condition but has quite a bit of surface rust. The chrome parts are in good shiny condition. The glass shades seem to be original to the lights and have no chips or cracks visible when in use although one globe has some tiny nibbles along the bottom and some rubbing (neither issues are seen when globe is in fitting) One of the lights is missing a metal part which is part of the fixture to attach it to the wall. The lights are fitted with their original bayonet bulb holders and both need re-wiring. The overall height of each light is approx 27cm The diameter of the round metal wall plate approx 11.5cm Diameter of globes approx 12cm Diameter of steel rings approx 18cm I send items to you from France and make an effort to pack carefully and post promptly. Gorgeous, so elegantly French, beautiful wall 'appliques'.  Beautiful  almost ormolu colour..  Such elegance!  Heavy and very good quality They measure approx 11 1/4" (28.5cm) in length.  The wiring is good - it looks new.   (It is always generally advised to get electrical items checked and fitted by a qualified person.)  There are a few nibbles on the top of the  'candles' s to each light as to be expected with age - so they look, perfectly aged in my view!  They are also different on each light as often happens.. These are really beautiful  wall sconce's.  They could go anywhere in the house.  Beside the bed, in a hall way over a hallway table...  I personally like them when they are set at different levels or perhaps in a bathroom to add a superb touch of elegance!  But that is just my preference... To put these wherever you want - don't forget, you can actually have long wires put onto these, and then simply plug them into a socket. You cover the flex in a long tube of ruffled material to disguise it a little and that way - they can go wherever you want them to! These will be sent by registered post. Feel free to ask questions.
