Nikon Nikkormat EL 35mm SLR film camera body. Sold for parts or repair as it is in poor condition. Exterior: Top of case is badly dented,. Other general signs of wear and tear, and quite dirty  Shutter/film transport: Fires and winds on without any obvious problems. Shutter curtain looks OK. Electrical: When checked with a battery the meter works Viewfinder/focusing screen: Lots of dust. Doesn't seem to be affected by the damage to the top of the body.  Lens mount: Lenses can be mounted, but the aperture coupling mechanism seems to be faulty and stuck in the wrong place. Film chamber: needs to be cleaned, needs new seals, pressure plate OK. No other functions checked, not tested with film.  For items sold for 'parts or repair' - I try to give a good description of any faults I find, but it is not always possible to give a complete list, and there will sometimes be other problems not described in the listing.
