⋆ We ship worldwide! ⋆ You are looking at an all-original vintage Orville Les Paul Custom from 1989. It comes in the rarest alpine white finish, aged to perfection to a nice cream color. As you may know, Orville was a brand of guitars run by the Gibson Guitar Corporation for the Japanese domestic market during the late 1980s and most of the 1990s. The guitars were designed to the highest standards, mimicking to perfection the most valuable Gibson guitars. Though they were not initially made for export, second hand Orvilles have since travelled the world, and because of their rarity have gained a cult-like following over the years. This is one is among the earliest Orvilles from 1989, as evidenced by the K-09 serial sticker on the back of the headstock, and is a great exemple of the exceptional japanese crafstmanship of the era. The guitar is in very nice shape, with the patina of a well cared for 30+ year old guitar: there's tarnishing on the gold pickups and hardware, some tiny marks here and there that I tried my best to photograph, but overall a very well preserved instrument. Neck is arrow straight and true with low action, fret job is flawless. A real easy player. It is also a light and resonant one, with a weight of only 3.82 kg measured on a digital scale (that's 8.42 lbs). Rings out clearly unplugged, sounds amazing plugged in. Etat cosmétique et fonctionnel  impeccable;  Instrument ayant très peu joué (pas de scène), frettes en très bon état, légère usure de la dorure des cache-micros due au frottement des doigts (minime, voir photos). La guitare a été révisée par un luthier et se joue très facilement. Cordes neuves. Coffre Gibson d’origine fourni. Essai possible. Je ne fais pas l’éloge de cette guitare mythique. This 2002 Gibson Les Paul Standard Mahogany is in exceptional condition and plays great. It features all mahogany construction including the carved top, mimicking the tone wood platform of a 1950s Les Paul Custom. Factory trio of Seymour Duncan Distortion humbuckers. That guitar sports a one-piece mahogany body. There are a few playing marks (at the back, hard to shoot), nothing to worry for a 19 years old guitar. It's lightweight (4,199 kg) and comes with its Gibson original hardshell case with all working latches (including the code lock). I have just got my hands on a cool '91 Black Beauty with all mahogany body so this all mahogany Standard has to go. Please note that the tunomatic bridge has been upgraded to a Schaller (the original tunomatic is not included). You can easily revert to original specs if needed.
