I recommend using two pairs to facilitate use and get a better flatness of the film. YAMAHA MT8X 8-TRACK CASSETTE RECORDER - GREAT SHAPE! LOFI SYNTH ANALOG. Hello all, Up for sale is my Yamaha MT8X is very good condition. All channels work with the exception of channel 3 that has some cracking once in awhile (simple fix if you're good at that stuff). Only real issue is the two fader caps missing on channels 7 and 8 other than that works great. Heads could use a good clean as well. Few bumps and scratches but nothing out of the ordinary for a 30+ year old machine. Sad to see it go, but I do not use it enough to warrant keeping it around. Looking for a new home!
