Looks to be hand quilted. The appliqué part has been done with a machine. This is a nice throw size. It also would look great hanging on a wall but you would need to add tabs or some way to hang it. I would say this is in very good condition. The tag part is worn out. Please look at the pictures as they are part of the description. This is a great cabin style quilt.

Large double size.  In excellent vintage condition with no holes or marks, one tiny repair, photo 8 which I only spotted as it came out of my washing machine. This is a small quilt in scrap fabrics. It has been well made and has machine and hand construction with lots of hand quilting. The border has feature blocks - a humming bird, a rainbow, a flower and a butterfly. The top  fabric is cotton  with warm synthetic wadding and should not be ironed. There are some Laura Ashley, Debbie Mumms, American, Japanese and Dutch fabric in the mix. The quilt dates from around 2000 and can be used on a cot, as a lap quilt or to hang on the wall. It is not factory made so it is not perfectly square and perfect but that is part of its charm.   38 x 50 inch / 97 x 127 cm *'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*'*  In the shop you will find a variety of items, some new, some used a little and some lovely vintage finds.  Sizing differs from brand to brand and some items have the wrong size label. DIVINE FRENCH VINTAGE STYLE FAWN & CREAM REVERSIBLE TOP QUILT COTTON MIX DBL Pretty vintage French style fawn and cream florals top quilt.  In excellent used condition, no holes, marks, smells etc  Double sided - mainly fawn with cream florals to the centre with a cream border and fawn florals, plain fawn to the back.  Looks as though it has hardly been used.  Seen photographed here on a UK double bed where is sits perfectly on top or drape either side of a single bed.  For bigger beds it would be great just to throw at the bottom of a bed for a "cosy pull up" for afternoon naps:0)    Cotton/Polyester infill. This is perfectly washable on a 40 degrees sensitive wash and then line dried. Lovely for a shabby chic French interior. This is a small quilt suitable for a lasting Christmas memory for your family. It has been well made and has machine construction and hand stitching with gilt embellishments on the tree. The star shaped quilting on the edges is in a gold thread.  The fabric is 100% cotton with synthetic wadding. It is a panel which has additional individual edging. The wadding is low loft and should not be ironed. The backing is a green gingham. The quilt is about 25 years old but has only been out for one month a year to hang on the wall for the festive season. This is a small double quilt in scrap fabrics. It has been well made and has machine construction and hand quilting with star shaped motifs. The quilting is part machine part hand sewn. It is not quilted all over - just in random parts. It needs a little TLC but nothing major.  Not suitable for a perfectionist. Great for snuggles on the sofa. The top  fabric is 100% cotton with synthetic wadding and should not be ironed. The quilt dates from around 2000 and can be used on a bed or on a sofa.
