MERCI et j'espere que leur succes deviendra planetaire, un tel talent va forcemement se savoir !! un nouvelle vie a leurs set list Les titres les plus connus du duo mexicain beneficiant d'une nouvelle orchestration pour cette proto-compilation... et le resultat est efficace ! Les morceaux on ete totalement rearranges, l'exploration et la richesse musicale sont les atouts de cet album, ixtapa est de loin l?un des morceaux-cle de l?enregistrement, l?arrangement pour sitar est superbe, bref, une bien belle idee et une bien belle maniere de redecouvrir l'oeuvre de Rodrigo y Gabriela. Menu best of, sauce cubaine Fan de RyG depuis quelques temps, j'ai ete deroute par cet album. J'ai retrouve les meilleurs morceaux du duo, mais sans l'aspect jouissif d'une musique a deux guitares. The original versions of "Heartbreak Hotel," "Rip It Up," and "That's All Right" are so firmly embedded as the foundations of rock & roll that the new versions here add little luster. But what makes Platinum a real treasure-trove is hearing Elvis off mic, whether off-duty or working up songs in the studio prior to recording. The cover has very minor flaws: a name or discrete initials, low wear corners, very slight ringwear. VG + + (VERY GOOD + +) More surface marks.Minor flaws or cover wear, minor edge wear. This is generally the grade given to a 20 to 50 years old record with a "normal" life, treated with care, but listened and handled regularly by his former owner. VG + (VERY GOOD +) Has been played a lot, shows multiple slight surface marks (hairlines) generating background noise between songs but no jump or skips. Cover shows important signs of age and storage (slice corners worn, name, date, dedication, tears, etc....). Generally, this record was one of the favorites among previous owner discotheque, went from hand to hand, had to animate some parties and bears the scars of a busy life. VG (VERY GOOD) The record is very worn, has been played a lot, shows important scratches that are creating permanent background noises but do not skip or jump. The cover is well worn, torn important corner and edge wear, significant traces of marker pen or... well, the previous grade but more accentuated. G (GOOD) Has been played to the hilt (but still playable on some titles), many scratches, crackles a lot while playing, may have jumps or sticks. The cover is very damaged. It was released on 7 May 2010 by Epic Records as the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, which was held in South Africa. Written, composed, and produced by Shakira and John Hill, "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" is a song whose lyrics encourage one to aim for their goals like a soldier on a battlefield. It garnered generally favourable reviews from critics, receiving praise for its production. The music video for "Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)" was directed by Marcus Raboy and shows Shakira and a group of dancers and children dancing to the song together. It features cameos by various footballers like Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. It became popular on YouTube, receiving more than 2.8 billion views as of May 2021 and becoming the 29th most-watched video of all time on the site. Shakira performed the song at the 2010 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony on 10 June as well as at the closing ceremony on 11 July. It was also included on the set list of her The Sun Comes Out World Tour (2010–11) and El Dorado World Tour (2018).
