See picture.  In original box with original rule book and stadium card.  The football field turns on and the figures "run" all over the field!  Includes stickers for jersey numbers, team names and all you see in the photos. Très interessant marqueur, compteurs en bois, avec touches en métal, utilisé pour le piquet ET pour le besique, probablement vers fin 19ème. La configuration des touches est très intéressante. En effet, cela démarre comme un marqueur de piquet classique avec les touches 1, 5, 10 et 50 permettant de compter jusqu'à 100 points. Mais il y a 4 touches supplémentaires, et on aurait pu s'attendre à ce qu'elles prennent la valeur 100 (suite logique). Mais elles ont une valeur de 1000 ! Il s'agit là d'une astuce du fabricant permettant d'utiliser ce même marqueur également pour le besique. Dans ce cas, les valeurs des touches 1 à 50 doit être multipliée par 10 (la touche 1 représente alors 10 points, la touche 5, 50 points etc...). La touche 50, 500 points, et nous avons alors 4 touches supplémentaires à 1000 permettant de compter jusqu'à 5000 points, pour le besique ! TRES RARE ! 8,1 x 5,1 cm     Autres marqueurs en vente. The pegs are turned to reveal points up to 1000. Probably end of 19th century. The pegs marking is very unusual and rare. It begins as a classical piquet marker with 1, 5, 10 and 50 pegs to count up to 100 points. But then, there are 4 more pegs which value should logically have been 100. Intead they're 1000 ! We've here a "trick" from the manufacturer that enable this marker to be used for bezique also. In this case, pegs 1 to 50 counts for 10 times their marked value (peg 1 for 10 points, 5 for 50 points... 50 for 500 points). And the four 1000 points pegs make a total of 5000 points for bezique. A magnificent African Malawi chess set in exotic wood. Entirely hand-crafted, the pieces are meticulously carved and depict savannah animals, while the board is a beautiful piece of marquetry with tribal motifs on its edges. The wood used for the pieces and board is a truly splendid species, with a lot of dimension and a very striking appearance. The game is large The king measures 14.6 cm and the board 43 x 43.5 cm. Games from Malawi are very rare, and this one, by virtue of its beauty and size, is of great value.
