Ideal for tube amplifiers etc. 25 cm woofer and a 25 mm tweeter with hemispherical dome membrane. Impedance 4 ohms. Load capacity 40 W according to DIN. Crossover frequency of built-in crossover 1500 Hz. Transmission range 25 - 25000 Hz according to DIN 45500. Both front grids made of metal are really well preserved ! The R-390A/URR provides reception of continuous-wave (CW), modulated-continuous-wave (MCW), frequency-shift keyed (FSK), and single-sideband (SSB) signals. A double sideband signal, either AM or phase-modulated (PM), occupying up to a total of 12 kHz of spectrum for voice transmission may also be received Radio Receiver R-390A/URR is a super heterodyne type with multiple frequency conversion covering a frequency range of 0.5 to 32 MHz. Double conversion is used when operating from 8.0 to 32 MHz, and triple conversion when operating from 0.5 to 8.0 MHz. Linear tuning provides constant frequency spread throughout the entire range. Tuning is accomplished by positioning powdered-iron cores in the RF and IF coils, at a rate controlled by a mechanical arrangement of gears, shafts, and cams. The operating frequency is read from a counter-type indicator. A built-in crystal-controlled oscillator provides frequency calibration. ETAT DU LECTEUR Façade en très bon état. Quelques traces et marques sur le  dessus (cf photos) La courroie du tiroir ainsi que les tampons amortisseurs de la tête de lecture sont neufs. Ces éléments ont été récemment remplacés  par un professionnel.  La  tête de lecture est d'origine (Philips CDM-12.4).  Pour le moment, elle a été conservée car globalement, la platine fonctionne bien. La mécanique est très réactive.  La platine lit des cds gravés sans difficulté  mais il  peut arriver,  sur des cds mal gravés ou en mauvais état,  que la platine se mette en erreur du type "error" ou "no disc".  Cela est rare mais dans le temps,  un remplacement de la tête de lecture   CDM12.4,  que l'on trouve facilement sur le net, devra  peut-être être envisagé.   QUALITE SONORE Ce lecteur vintage, sommet de la gamme Stage du constructeur français Micromega est doté d' une très grande réputation  auprès des audiophiles pour des raisons évidentes.  Il possède un superbe rendu, une musicalité  d'un très grand naturel,  sans agressivité.    Les instruments sonnent juste et  les voix sont retranscrites avec un réalisme sonore impressionnant.  L'image sonore est ample, la spatialisation remarquable. The read head is original (Philips CDM-12.4). For the moment, it has been kept because overall, the turntable works well. The mechanics are very responsive.    The turntable reads CDs without difficulty but it can happen, on poorly engraved  CD or CD  in poor condition, that the turntable gets into an "error" or "no disc" type error. This is rare but over time a replacement for the CDM12.4 read head, which is easily found on the net, may have to be considered. SOUND QUALITY This vintage player, the top of the Stage range from the French manufacturer Micromega, has a very high reputation among audiophiles for obvious reasons. It has a superb rendering, a musicality of a very great naturalness,  without aggressiveness. The instruments ring true and the voices are transcribed with impressive sonic realism. This unit is a type of preamplifier in that you canuse it to control the volume from line input devices like CD players, tuners,tape decks, etc.  It also has a graphic equalizer with 5 memory settings and you can control all the frequencies of the EQ from the remote control whichis something I have not seen before.  You can switch to a real time spectrum analyzer display which will move to the music.   Other features include JVC's SEA "acoustic expander" which does exactly what you'd expect.  The EQ has 5 memory settings and a reverse setting aswell which instantly give you the exact opposite eq curve.   Allbuttons, controls, features, and display are working correctly.  Shows very little wear.
