HF receiver Collins 51S-1 - round emblem. Fully tested on all bands; Good working condition Serious vintage receiver collectors chase this one. All tubes have been replaced by N.O.S. U.S. imported tube set. The S-meter light has been updated to modern white Simpson scale. (the original dark-brown S-meter scale is supplied too)  It has been re-capped. Few derated resistors have been replaced as well. There are few dents as shown on the photos, but this rig is working good overall, given its age. The front panel certainly needs a better cleaning. Frequency coverage: 200kHz to 30 MHz in thirty 1 MHz bands. Dial lock. USB, LSB, AM or CW demodulation. Power supply: 220V 125Watt. 17 tubes. The delivery includes 51S-1 receiver; Loudspeaker, technical manual (copy) and 220V mains cord.  It is sold as is, no warranty whatsoever; what you see is what you get.  If it does not suit your needs, please send it back untouched, in the same packing card box to give someone else a chance.

Absolutely PERFECT FRONT PANEL - all controls, lamps and fluorescent digital display operate as designed - all original control knobs with polished silver brights, all control lettering perfect. Steel cabinet looks great, has not dents or dings, only a few light, age-related scratches. Receiver is super clean inside and out. Tested, all bands engage, all modes engage (except FM) - tuning is smooth, selectivity and sensitivity is excellent - very loud audio with a nice, useful Tone control. This is a full sized "real radio" - no tiny confusing drop down sub menus menus - controls are solid and full size - has the feel of a classic communications receiver and is built to last. Modes of reception include LSB/CW, USB, AM and FM. An analog dial supplements the 1 kHz yellow LED digital display. The built in clock-timer includes remote activation terminals on the rear panel.
