MONTBLANC Patron Of Art NAPOLEON BONAPARTE Limited Edition 888 - Fountain Pen Napoléon Bonaparte (1769–1821) was a great patron of the arts and dedicated a lot of attention to Neoclassicism, reviving of the Classical styles of ancient Greece and Rome in the European continent. Napoléon promoted artists to work in the Neoclassical style and built La Madeleine, Arc de Triomphe and other extraordinary objects. The overall design of the pen is inspired by the neoclassic style. The fountain pen is made of lacquer with platinum coated fittings and an Au750 solid yellow gold overlay. The decoration on the skeleton grid shows oak leaves to represent the strenght and longevity, olives leaves as a symbol of strength and victory and immortality as well as bees as a symbole to disconnect from Bourbons and link to Mérovingiens. The skeleton spiral on the cap and barrel is inspired by the original Colonne Vendome with the infinite role of the army. The decoration on the cap top pays homage to symbols from his reign: the coronational laurel crown, the imperial crown, the eagle. The cap is crowned by the Montblanc Emblem in Mother Of Pearl. The clip, decorated with a N, is inspired by a sword blade. The red clip stone pays homage to Josephine’s coronation ring. Je vous propose les 2 pièces nécessaires pour une remise en état,  reproduites à l' identique de l' origine, ne ratez pas l' occasion car le nombre encore disponible est  très limité. Les 2 pièces, redessinées à partir des pièces originales et  de relevés de cotes sur des boîtes NOS d' origine Breitling,  ont été usinées au tour à   commande numérique puis ajustées une par une à la main. Elles couvrent  toutes les versions allant  du Chronomat 769 version  2 (  à partir de 1946,   n° de série supérieur à 636xxx) jusqu' aux dernières versions de Chronomat 808 Breitling  et  Breitling-Lip, que la boîte soit  en  acier, en  plaqué ou en  or massif .  Les frais initiaux et  les coûts de fabrication  en très petite série ont été importants,  c 'est  pourquoi  le prix du  kit  est  significatif,  mais  c 'est au  final la meilleure solution possible pour celui  qui  souhaite remettre en état  un Chronomat  et  se trouve confronté au  problème de lunette habituel  sur ces modèles. Il  n' y a plus de stock de pièces d' origine,  car beaucoup  ont  été cassées lors de tentatives de démontage maladroites et  les stocks  ont  été épuisés. L'  usinage unitaire d' une bague de rotation est  très délicat et le bon compromis de friction  est  difficile à obtenir.  Vous retrouverez avec ce kit  la rotation  sans jeu et légèrement grasse qui  caractérisait  les Chronomat  produits par la Maison L.G. Breitling à l' époque. 1ere pièce  = la bague de rotation,  réalisée en bronze, et  nécessaire pour toutes les versions.   2nde pièce = l' anneau  plat  de lunette, réalisé en acier inoxydable,  et  rapporté sur la lunette sauf sur les toutes dernières versions de lunette 808 avec lèvre intégrée (  boîtes dans les 1400xxx)    Sur les Chronomat 808 antérieurs et Chronomat 769, un  anneau  plat  en  acier est chassé dans la face inférieure de la lunette. En général, cette pièce qui  n' était pas en  acier inoxydable à l' origine s' est  oxydée,  et  si  vous tentez de la récupérer en la passant  sur une toile abrasive, vous créez un  jeu  excessif nuisible à une rotation correcte. Avec un  anneau  neuf en acier inoxydable,  vous obtiendrez la rotation souhaitée.  Vous achetez 1 kit  de 2 pièces = 1 bague usinée en bronze  et  1 anneau  plat en acier inoxydable.
