      A Gorgeous Pair of Vintage French Bronze Bedside Side Table Lamps with Shades   I am selling a really gorgeous pair of vintage French table lamps with pretty shades.   This pair of lamps have really ornate bronze ormolu bases. The pretty vintage chiffon clip-on shades are handmade and are of very good quality. The lamps with their shades measure 31cm in height. The lamp bases without their shades measure 19cm in height. The width of the lamp base at its widest point measures 24cm. The pair of lamps with their shades weigh 2.2 kg They both have on/off switches incorporated into the flex. They each require a bayonet type bulb (bulbs not included).  They will need to have plugs fitted. All measurements are approximate. Condition  Both lamps are in good condition having surface patination to the bronze commensurate with age and use. There are some surface marks to the faux candle sleeves and the sleeves are different in design and colour. There are several pulls/nicks in the chiffon material of the shades, I have shown an example of this in the last photo. I have shown these light fittings working and the two core flex appears to be in good order but I would advise you to have them checked/tested  before use and if necessary rewired to the standards required in your country of residence.   Payments by Paypal only please P+P  I take care with my packaging using strong boxes, bubble wrap and polychips.  Postage from France with tracking and insurance. Gorgeous, so elegantly French, beautiful wall 'appliques'.  Beautiful  almost ormolu colour..  Such elegance!  Heavy and very good quality They measure approx 11 1/4" (28.5cm) in length.  The wiring is good - it looks new.   (It is always generally advised to get electrical items checked and fitted by a qualified person.)  There are a few nibbles on the top of the  'candles' s to each light as to be expected with age - so they look, perfectly aged in my view!  They are also different on each light as often happens.. These are really beautiful  wall sconce's.  They could go anywhere in the house.  Beside the bed, in a hall way over a hallway table...  I personally like them when they are set at different levels or perhaps in a bathroom to add a superb touch of elegance!  But that is just my preference... To put these wherever you want - don't forget, you can actually have long wires put onto these, and then simply plug them into a socket. You cover the flex in a long tube of ruffled material to disguise it a little and that way - they can go wherever you want them to! These will be sent by registered post. Feel free to ask questions. This item is an Antique or vintage French. The charm of another era. It has lived a story. It was therefore used or has been in storage a very long time. Gorgeous, Original French Art Deco Light Fitting. (ref os01) Classic 1930's design, with geometric and organic raised patterns. Opaque clear pressed glass with original aluminium gallery with bayonet bulb fitting. Gallery could be polished up. Can be fitted onto a lamp or to the ceiling.  Could be modified to be a lamp on it's own.  Some damage on the top, as you can see in the photos when the gallery is fitted this doesn't show at all, nor stop the gallery from fixing correctly.  Shade 18cm/7.5" high and wide at maximum point. 21cm/8.25" with gallery.
