Published by the famous French brand Yves Rocher Parfum, with its legendary logo from the 60s to 90s. German manufacturing. It is written below ''non-food'' in German, English and French. Bottom outer diameter: 5.5 cm. Inner diameter: 3 cm. Height: 7.5cm. Width: 7.5cm. Weight: 87 gr. There is a slight dent to the top rim and a few stubborn stains on the interior, the exterior is very good. Very pretty decorative object with a design that is pleasant to look at and good company. A set of 2 mugs from the Japanese company SoftGarage that also made the life-size statues for the movies. The mugs were never used and are brand new. Also come with the original box. This is an ultra rare Chip Hazard statue made with cold cast porcelain from the Japanese company SoftGarage. This statue stands approximately 12 inches tall and was molded directly from the master molds used to create the original puppets, this piece is a collector’s dream. The statue has amazing details, and the paint job is simply stunning, capturing every nuance of the character. With the base included, it weighs nearly 3kg, giving it a substantial presence. It comes with the original box, and the cardboard outter box (both are a bit damaged with time, but present). It will be safely sent inside an additional generic cardboard box. This statue is as close as you can get from owning an actual prop from the movie. The statue is in great shape considering it’s from 1998. There are slight paint rubbings in some parts that I have shown in the pictures. Please also note that the dog tags are not the original ones that came with the statue. A yellow banner is going across the pin which has a small picture of Sleeping Beauty's Castle on it, as well as a small picture of the Walt Disney Studios tower. This pin was released at the Pin Trading Night at the Sante Fe Hotel on 22/06/07. It measures: 1.77" (with yellow banner) x 1.38". It is an individually numbered Limited Edition of 400. Real dress from the civil war era, circa 1865, in brown silk bengaline. It is composed of 3 pieces: blouse, skirt, and over-skirt or b'"'apronb'"'. - The details and finishes that make up the dress make it possible to date it to the end of the 1860s. Transition between the crinoline and the tournure, and the end of the pagoda sleeves. The blouse has a b'"'tailb'"' at the back, which will be seen frequently later. - The blouse is lined in cotton. It is whaled (a whale has been replaced). The buttons, reported, are not original. - The skirt and overskirt are lined in glazed cotton. The set is in EXCEPTIONAL condition! There is no fading or wear to the fabric; only about ten small holes which are, for the majority, in the bottom of the skirt, of a size lower than a pinhead. There is a small tear inside the opening of the skirt (see last photo): it is slight and it cannot be seen but I prefer to point it out. Generally, in the sense that Retrouvailles evinces, from beginning to end, that paradoxical mixture of solidarity in the pursuit of a collective goal, together with competitive individual excellence that makes jazz great. There is unstinting excellence and unflagging attention to detail; all the while knowing that no one is likely to get rich from this record, or this music, even though they really should. Specifically, because like many listeners of my advanced age, I fell in love with the music via a sound similar to Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers—those little big bands (or are they large small ensembles?)— that mix genuine funk with elegant sophistication, delivered by exquisitely arranged multi-horn line-ups. De Preissac clearly draws on this inspiration as well. The expertly navigated changes in meter and tempo are right out of the Wayne Shorter-era Jazz Messengers. The always subtly surprising tonal colors in de Preissac's arrangements recall the arranging work of his compatriot, flautist Christophe dal Sasso's Exploration (Nocturne, 2006). There are further parallels. Drummer Andréa Michelutti, like Blakey, favors the booming lower range of his kit. De Preissac, for his part, calls to mind some of the best qualities of the playing of various Jazz Messengers pianists (Horace Silver, Bobby Timmons, Cedar Walton, Mulgrew Miller): a round, gospel-tinged sound, a slight florid tendency to the baroque, all the better to be heard over and between the large-ish ensemble. In de Preissac's case, these characteristics are overlaid with classical elements as well (as on his solo on "Minor's Mood"). As a brief cross-section of the players' strengths, listen to the sequence of short solos on "Jungleblues," which sounds for all the world like a Jazz Messengers show closer. Tenor saxophonist Jean-Christophe Béney is firmly in the tradition (though elsewhere on the record he favors ever so slightly "out" sonorities) and equally in control. As does trumpeter and composer Fabien Mary, who insistently splits the beats of his solos. For a bit of contrast, Michaël Chéret, on alto sax, heads for more angular territory, Eric Dolphy style, only to be followed by trombonist Mickaël Joussein's very cool sound on top of the rhythm. The leader takes a crystalline turn, followed by an arco episode from bassist Manuel Marchès and a brief trading of fours with drummer Michelutti. And that's not even the record's finest number.
