Extremely nice vintage French Villedieu copper plannished saute-frying pan and matching lid. Both the pan and lid have the makers mark of L.Lecellier Villedieu stamped on them also on the pan is stamped the number 24. In good condition for age and use, the tin lining is good and ready to use. The copper is nicely polished there is some light scratching to the pan and lid and two small indentations where the handle sits but all in all this is a cracking pan (please see photos) all consistent with age and use. The pan is a good usable size, the pan measures 24 cm across the top and 6.5cm high, the pan is 2mm thick. Gorgeous, so elegantly French, beautiful wall 'appliques'.  Beautiful  almost ormolu colour..  Such elegance!  Heavy and very good quality They measure approx 11 1/4" (28.5cm) in length.  The wiring is good - it looks new.   (It is always generally advised to get electrical items checked and fitted by a qualified person.)  There are a few nibbles on the top of the  'candles' s to each light as to be expected with age - so they look, perfectly aged in my view!  They are also different on each light as often happens.. These are really beautiful  wall sconce's.  They could go anywhere in the house.  Beside the bed, in a hall way over a hallway table...  I personally like them when they are set at different levels or perhaps in a bathroom to add a superb touch of elegance!  But that is just my preference... To put these wherever you want - don't forget, you can actually have long wires put onto these, and then simply plug them into a socket. The ancient thistle box is made using the technique of bas-relief drawing: a large beautiful thistle with leaves in the center, as if alive, shows all the details, delicate manual work of the French master of the Art Nouveau era. Thistle - a beautiful and prickly flower - the national symbol of Scotland. This plant is admired and loved by the people of Scotland, for which they received the name "Scottish Rose" from them. "No one will touch me with impunity" (lat. Nemo me impune lacessit) - the royal motto, historically used on the Royal coat of arms of Scotland, which shows the thistle, and the words of the motto can rightly be attributed to the thorny thistle! The vintage box "Thistle" is round, large and roomy, a rare plot and so realistic. A rare and beautiful box will decorate your home and create an atmosphere of antiquity, as well as be useful for storing your jewelry or other little things. The old casket is luxurious, large, with dimensions: height - 4.5 cm, diameter 11.5 cm, in very good vintage condition, on the back of the base there is a brand mark and the French inscription "94% tin", which confirms the French origin of the casket ! This very attractive vintage French 8 arm chandelier is in the style of a tied bouquet. From the centre bar comes an array of pretty green leaves. foliage and lily flowers in shades of pink. The 8 arms form part of the tied bouquet feature at the bottom of the chandelier and are scrolled leading to pink flower shaped candle drip holders. The candle drips are beige hard plastic and are in keeping with the chandelier. The chandelier hangs from a 1 link chain bar and flower style ceiling rose. This wonderful chandelier is very attractive with lots of detail and would add a touch of French country style to your home decor. Very large vintage French table lamp carved wood base with hide skin shade. The base of the lamp is round with carved details and is finished in a washed beige color with gold high lights. To the top of the base is a wooden candle drip. Above the candle drip is a white bulb and shade holder and the shade is round in hide skin with a braid around the top and bottom. This large country style lantern would suit many room settings adding a touch of French country charm to your home decoration. We are happy to offer for your consideration of vintage Arts & Crafts Spanish Revival style porch lamp from France. Made out of a cast iron with decorative bent wire and glass on the side it is in good vintage condition. The wiring will certainly need to be checked. All of the glass is in good shape and the metal is in good shape. It has a slight patina to it but certainly could be repainted all black if you would like. These style of pendant lights are meant to mirror the large streetlights in France. They are found outside every Every home door and are made to light the way and to receive a guest. The French love the Spanish revival style for outdoor lighting. So much of what they have is made out of steel and iron. It looks very nice with a stone exterior, and gives a timelessness to the fixtures as well. They could just as easily have a candle lit inside as the modern light bulb.
