It appears to be made of something like ostrich leather, crazy as that sounds. The stitching is precise, and the inside has a soft lining. There is a cutout along the top rear edge that provides access to the AF-S's viewfinder and flash release. I am almost positive this is not a commercial product: there is no branding, and there is no tripod screw attachment in the bottom of the case, yet it precisely holds an AF-S (as seen in the pictures).
