he Yaesu FT-221R is a 2 meter multi-mode transceiver that operates in SSB, CW, FM and AM modes. Power output is:  SSB 12 watts PEP, CW 14 watts, FM 14 watts and AM 2.5 watts. Frequency coverage is 144 to 148 MHz in eight 500 kHz ranges. It has a built-in 100 kHz crystal calibrator, noise blanker, speaker and three way analog meter (S Meter/Power Out/FM Discriminator). Up for your bidding pleasure is this nice, clean COLLINS 516F-2 POWER SUPPLY FOR KWM-2 transceivers and S series 32s-1/3 transmitters. I changed all but one of the electrolytic capacitors. I didn’t replace the.05uf at 1000v on the HV output as they hardly ever go bad. It comes just as you see it with a 5u4 HV and 5R4 LV tube.  All voltages check out and It worked fine the last time it was used on Nov 2020 running my KWM-2. There is a small chip out of the edge of one of the 5R4 tube socket but doesn’t effect it’s operation and the prior owner put black tape on the end of the 11 pin power cable at the strain relief. Please look closely at the photos, I welcome any questions. Do to the fragile nature of vintage electronics over 50+ years old this power supply is being sold Condition is "For parts or not working", No returns, No case or speaker is included. Absolutely PERFECT FRONT PANEL - all controls, lamps and fluorescent digital display operate as designed - all original control knobs with polished silver brights, all control lettering perfect. Steel cabinet looks great, has not dents or dings, only a few light, age-related scratches. Receiver is super clean inside and out. Tested, all bands engage, all modes engage (except FM) - tuning is smooth, selectivity and sensitivity is excellent - very loud audio with a nice, useful Tone control. This is a full sized "real radio" - no tiny confusing drop down sub menus menus - controls are solid and full size - has the feel of a classic communications receiver and is built to last.
