très belle paire de candélabres d’autel d’église à 5 bras de lumière en bronze doré, à décor de volutes et de feuillages. Ils reposent sur un piètement tripode.     Époque : Fin XIXème Dimensions : H :54 x l :38cm   Le chandelier est une pièce de mobilier d’église présent dans chaque église et posé sur l’autel.    Le grand chandelier à plusieurs branches prend le nom de candélabre.   Son utilisation remonte aux origines même de l’église et est lié de manière évidente et indissoluble au symbole de la Lumière comme expression de Foi, Espoir et Résurrection du Christ. Le chandelier était autrefois posé par terre et uniquement dans une période successive a été disposé sur l’autel avant le début de la célébration pour être rangé après la Messe.    Au Xème siècle les Statuta Ecclesiae antiquae décrétèrent que l’acolyte sur le point de prononcer ses vœux devait recevoir dans ses mains un chandelier avec le cierge.   Le Concile de Trente établit une codification très précise pour le service d’autel, composé de six chandeliers à utiliser pendant la Messe et sept chandeliers pour le Pontifical du Pape ou pour celui d’un Évêque. La forme du chandelier dérive de son utilisation initiale en tant que pièce de mobilier profane à l’époque préchrétienne: un pied, une tige, un plateau pour la cire et une pique sur laquelle coincer la bougie.   Au cours du temps, les chandeliers atteignirent des dimensions de plus en plus grandes et un soin de plus en plus poussé de la forme et des décorations.    Les matériaux de fabrication aussi ont évolué avec un ample usage de l’or, de l’argent et d’autres métaux précieux, mais aussi de matériaux plus simples comme le bois et le laiton, selon les moyens de l’église.   Au XVI siècle d’autres règles précises concernant le chandelier furent codifiées: son aspect devait rappeler la croix d’autel ; les matériaux précieux devaient être réservés aux célébrations officielles; sa forme devait être simple, linéaire, avec un pied rond ou triangulaire, la tige ciselée, le plateau circulaire avec une pique pour la bougie.   Le chandelier a conservé ces caractéristiques jusqu’à aujourd’hui avec d’inévitables variantes artistiques et formelles liées aux différentes périodes historiques. DISCOGRAPHIE complète de INNA DE YARD (original band 2004-2011) released on CD   + RARES BONUS CDs - EXCELLENT ROOTS REGGAE -  Cette enchère est une occasion rarissime pour les fans du groupe Inna De Yard ou d'autres collectionneurs de REGGAE de pouvoir acquérir la collection complète des CDs réalisés par le groupe original, sur le label Makasound, entre 2004 et 2008. Elle totalise 10 CDs au total, quelle sacrée série ! Des chanteurs et musiciens ‘de légendes’ sont immortalisés ‘dans l’arrière cour’ avec et chez Earl Chinna Smith. Je propose non seulement cette série mythique, mais j’y ajoute des BONUS très rares, voire introuvables : 1/ le CD ‘See and Hear’ : le groupe était allé en Suède en 2011. Les musiciens avaient profité de ce séjour pour enregistrer en studio quelques nouveaux morceaux, avec des musiciens locaux ! ‘voir et écouter’ (‘see and hear’) : c’est du très lourd !!! 2/ le lot de cartes postales ‘promo’ de Makasound de l’époque : de superbes dessins des musiciens qui ont été immortalisés  …   dont certains nous ont quittés …  3/ mes ‘bonus personnels’ : j’avais enregistré des diffusions radio de concerts du groupe en 2009, puis un autre concert en LIVE, en juillet 2010 à la Plage Glaz’Art à Paris… j’offre donc ces excellents enregistrements avec ce lot ! Le concert de Paris en 2010 inclus une autre ‘légende’ du REGGAE : Monsieur Clinton FEARON, qui profita de cette occasion pour nous offrir quelques unes de ses célèbres compositions ! quel show ! Following their post-modern vibe further into Brian Eno's futuristic sound-space, U2 have now floated so far out of their customary atmosphere they've even abandoned their moniker. And with good reason. ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS 1, a loose collection of compositions written for films which may or may not exist, resembles a U2 album in only the vaguest of ways--it is basically a Brian Eno concoction, with Ireland's finest contributing not much more than their distinctive instrumental feel and Bono's new-found subtlety around a vocal mic. Yet these characteristics are enough to identify the participants, and to raise Passengers above the standard electronic/ambient din that has taken over clubland in the 1990s. ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS 1 is not strictly an experimental excursion. While much of the album follows the atmospheric norm of Eno's own Soundtracks series (after which this project was named), there are a number of traditional "songs" interspersed between the synthetic canvases, and most of these are softer extensions on the ZOOROPA aesthetic. "Slug" finds Bono whispering wishes over tension-filled keyboard washes and layers of rhythm. "Your Blue Room," a relaxed kin to "One" and "The Unforgettable Fire," is U2 playing Tindersticks--full of menacing organ, faint, Duane Eddy-like guitar, and starring Larry Mullen, Jr. as a Euro Funky Drummer. Finest among these surreal moves is "Miss Sarajevo," which uses Luciano Pavarotti's tenor as a voice of empowered grief in the melancholy story of a war-torn beauty contest. When ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACKS 1 moves outward, it flies in the direction of the nearest rave--adding world-wide rhythms to Eno's ambient soundscapes, to form a compass of emotions. "United Colours" is a straight-up techno track with passing samples of scratched records, fly-by vehicles and looped voices. "One Minute Warning" is an eerie alarm, complete with African and electronic beats, a machine-gun ticker-tape pulse, and an incomprehensible Eno-led choir seemingly ushering in the apocalypse. The album ends with a mixture of the two explored worlds: "Theme From Let's Go Native" is a bit of tribal rockisms, led by a stray dub bassline and Edge's simple chords.
