A small black screw retouch mark on an internal metal retaining ring (see front photos) comes from an internal clean some while ago and does not affect performance in any way (tested with film as above). Mechanical & Electonic: Tested before advertising. All functions ‘as good as new’. Zoom and focus rings are smooth, firm, precise. Auto / manual diapraghm action crisp. Optical: Glass clean and clear; no fungus or haze. Few internal dust specs, no effect on optical performance, which is ‘as good as new’. Front filter always fitted. [Description in french below] Because I am moving to mirrorless, I am selling various F–mount lenses, including this wonderful wide angle tilt-shift lens. I have used it with lots of pleasure on various Nikon bodies, but then the 19mm version came out and I stopped using it. It was always stored in a safe, protected from cold, damp and other adverse conditions, so it is in excellent condition, no scratches or fungi on the glass. I thought there was a slight stickiness with the shifting mechanism, so I sent it back to Nikon France for fixing, and it came back with a clean bill of health and a 6-month warranty (beginning December 10, 2020). It has been entirely taken apart, cleaned and put back together, tried and tested by Nikon. Invoice supplied upon request. It is now mechanically perfect. Il a été entièrement démonté, nettoyé et remonté, puis contrôlé et testé par Nikon. Facture fournie sur demande. Il est maintenant en parfait état mécanique. Fourni avec les bouchons avant et arrière d'origine, le pare-soleil et l'étui souple.
