Le disque est absolument parfait, comme neuf. Il n’est juste plus sous son emballage d’origine. NM Near Mint La pochette est presque parfaite, pouvant comporter de très minimes signes d’usure. Par contre le dessin artistique ou la photo de la pochette doit être aussi impeccable que possible. Le disque est presque parfait. De très légères marques lumineuses peuvent être constatées sur la surface du disque, mais cela doit être vraiment minime. Il ne doit y avoir aucun effet sur la qualité sonore du disque. Si c’est le cas, même minime, il ne pourra plus être considéré comme NM ou M-. EX Excellent La pochette peut avoir quelques très discrètes rayures et/ou des petits plis. Le disque montre des signes d’avoir été joué (sensibles marques lumineuses), mais la perte de qualité sonore est pratiquement inaudible. VG+ Very Good + La pochette présente des signes de manipulations évidents: extrémité légèrement cornée, étiquette du prix, plis. Mais aucun défaut majeur. Il se peut aussi qu’elle soit en parfait état mais présente un poinçon ou une extrémité biseautée. C’est l’état le plus courant des disques de deuxième main. Les disques ont quelques rayures qui n’affectent pas la qualité sonore. Certains crépitements peuvent être audibles sur des platines très sensibles. VG Very Good La pochette est usée avec des plis, des marques, des décollements, une usure des bords, des décolorations, un début de marque circulaire du disque sur la pochette. Les signes de l’âge sont présents. Le disque a des rayures et marques qui affectent la qualité sonore. Il peut y avoir des craquements et également des petits sauts si le disque est légèrement gondolé. G Good Pochette et sous pochette présentant de nombreux défauts dus au temps et à l'usure, notamment sur la tranche et les côtés. Elles peuvent être maintenues par du ruban adhésif ou recouvertes par des autocollants. Les rayures en surface sont bien visibles. B Bad La pochette est très abîmée avec des déchirures, des traces et marques d’usure un peu partout. Des éléments de la pochette peuvent être également manquants. Le vinyle n’est plus jouable correctement à cause des trop nombreuses rayures et défauts de surface. Le disque peut être cassé, dans ce cas il mérite sa place dans un listing uniquement s’il est très rare.

La pochette, G: En état "occasion". Des signes d'usure ici et là. Traces de 2 étiquettes qui ont été retirées en haut à droite. Petite déchirure de 2,5cms sur une des tranches du haut. Pas au point d'être "destroy" tout de même dans son ensemble. L'intérieur, puisque c'est une pochette qui s'ouvre, est "en bon état" je dirais, idem pour l'insert. Les disques, F/VG+: F car une petite rayure crée 9 crépitements marqués (sur 9 tours de disque donc, sur le morceau 4 de la face A du disque 1 (sur "You're The One That I Want" donc, oui, c'est un des morceaux les plus connus de ce double LP, et j'en suis désolé !). Ailleurs, l'écoute est globalement propre. Léger bruit naturel "normal" de vinyle occasionnel, dans les intros, passages calmes et peu instrumentalisés, et autres "breaks", ou sur les rares morceaux très calmes type slows (le morceau A3 disque 1 crépite légèrement ici et là par exemple, idem intro B1 (3-4 picotements), mais c'est raisonnable je dirais). Les quelques "nuisances" remarquées concernent le disque 1 donc. J'ai par contre relevé des saturations ici et là, sur certains morceaux et à certains endroits, mais là c'est dû à l'enregistrement (d'époque...), c'est inclus dans la musique et les disques n'en sont pas la cause donc. Voilà, 9 crépitements sur un double LP qui "passe" plutôt bien ailleurs, je pense qu'il n'est pas à jeter à la poubelle, je le mets donc aux enchères. Je donne un maximum de détails, et dévalue plutôt que sur-évaluer la qualité de ce que je vends, car je n'accepte pas les retours. You who are looking for the ultimate piece in your collection of this huge band of music, here it is, you have just found. Condition: EX+ cover and  NM disc Extremely rare. Gatefold sleeve. Only 200 copies in the world edited in 1985.  The sound is breathtaking, i've never heard basses so deep and others instruments so clear on all  recording media otherwise available (Strange Fruit 1991, remasters on The Best Of 2006 etc.) and this is due to the reading speed 45 rpm. Absoluty an hypnotic performance (Paul MORLEY, NME).  Tracklist: Side A: Exercise one / Insight / She's lost control / Transmission  Side B: Love will tear us apart / Twenty four hours / Colony / The sound of music  Source: the two Peel Sessions january & september 1979 (studios BBC & Maida Vale) I bought it in LONDON in 1986 at a specialized record shop (unofficial release). A magnficient highly collectible objet for a real fan! The artwork was inspired by Peter SAVILLE, initially planned for STILL album. Really much rarer than the french 7" SORDIDE SENTIMENTAL " Licht und Blindheit" SS 33002. You'll never find this item elsewhere on sale (auctions websites, Discogs, CD&LP etc.). The graphic comes from the painting of Caspar David FREIDRICH "Monastery cimetery in the snow", the painter become popular with the "Traveler contemplating a sea of clouds". EXTRAS: incredible sound effects at the begenning and the end of each disc as follows: Side A begins with thunder and rain sound effects, then a scratching sound (as the needle is roughly sliding across the grooves), and then some mad laughter followed by a "welcome!". After the tracks it closes with another stylus scratching noise and an annoyed voice exclaiming something along the lines of "Hey, what are you trying to do, man? You ruined my record, I just bought it!" Side B features, dialogue taken from (or later used in) an Apollonia Six (Prince offshoot) album spoken word track called Ooo She She Wa Wa at the beginning and the end. Side B starts with the following dialogue: "God bless Susan and Brenda and my rabbit, Smokey Oh, and God, please bless all the people on Neptune Amen Apollonia? Who said that? VG     le vinyl:  jouera avec des gresillements frequents pouvant parfois un peu gener  l'ecoute du disque (craquement en debut et fin de morceaux et/ou sur les passages les plus calmes, claquement sec provoqué par une mini rayure plus profonde mais pendant moins de 10 secondes).  la pochette sera propre mais presentera des signes visibles d'usures (carton ramolli par l'age ou l'humidité/ pochette pouvant etre froissée ou legerement dechirée ou coupée sur les tranches / usures des coins ). des petites marques ou inscriptions au stylo ou feutre peuvent apparaitre (signature pour repérer les disques dans les boums !  repérages de DJ.....) . G+/G/G-  le vinyl   a eté beaucoup ecouté et presente des gresillements reguliers, il peut aussi avoir un claquement provoqué par une marque plus profonde. Cependant cette appreciation depend beaucoup du proprietaire et du type de musique. souvent les bruits de surface dependent du volume sonore.un bon vieux rock ou hard sonnera "bon" a fort volume alors qu'un melomane adorant le jazz ou le classique trouvera l'ecoute "horrible". L'ENCHERE NE SERA PAS CONSEILLEE AUX AUDIOPHILES ET PERFECTIONNISTES  la pochette: elle aura connu des problemes nuisant fortement a son esthetique (bande en ruban adhesif, marques au stylo ou feutre, dechirure, bordures tres usees, rongee par les rats...).   en fonction de la gravite de l'etat du disque et de la pochette les majorant ou minorant +  /  -   seront appliqués a G  .  P pauvre:   P NE REPRESENTE PAS UN NIVEAU ENCORE PLUS BAS QUE G . le disque est en vente uniquement s'il est digne d'interet c'est a dire tres rare et de collection.  l'acquereur aura alors une pochette tres correcte avec un disque quasiment inecoutable ou l'inverse . charge a lui d'attendre de trouver plus tard la méme piece en meilleur etat. j'ai constaté que  de nombreux collectionneurs a la recherche de pieces pas courantes aiment les posseder méme tres abimees juste pour le plaisir fetichiste de les posseder ! pour le contenu ils ecoutent les versions remasterisees et remplies de bonus (merci a rhino usa ou a juke box france) dans tous les cas le prix de depart sera 1,99 euros sans prix de reserve et vous serez prevenus par une description tres precise de l'objet. §§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§§                                                GRADING INFORMATION NM   NEW EX   vinyl   is virtually perfect. at most,perhaps a light scuff appears on the record.it play without any noise or skips of any kind whatsover.  record sleeve: should look perfect with only minor signs of wear. the artwork should have no marks of any kind; there should be no "ring wear". VG+: vinyl  should play with no skips of any kind. it should sound better than it looks. perhaps some very surface scuffs;but not a lot effect on sound quality. but still plays well. surface noise will probably be present including pops and clicks. noise should only be heard between tracks or  or during very calm passage  record sleeve: might have some "ring wear" but the artwork should be unaffect   VG: vinyl doesn't necessarily look good, but still plays well. surface noise will  be present including pops and clicks.   record sleeve will look warn and used. there may be seam splitting.  there will be noticeable ring wear on the cover,but most of the cover should still be in good condition.  G+/G/G-:    vinyl looks well played,dull, and possibly not well taken care of. however, the record should still play without skipping. it will have substantial surface noise, pops and clicks.loss of various parts of the dynamic range will occur due to worn grooves. this grading depends a lot on the owner and the type of music. a rock or hard record may will sound "good" with high volume but a  jazz or classical  record will sound"horrible".  please  audiophile or perfectionist don't bid   . record sleeve : may have many problems including seam splits,writing taped repairs, however some of the artwork will still be visible. there can't be large tears and gouges in the cover. depending of the gravity the grade +/- will be add to G. P POOR : doesn't meet the lowest standards for"good". at this point the vinyl is difficult to listen to  . the only reason to keep it would be due to extreme rarity or to fill a good sleeve until a better copy of the vinyl comes along. the same thing for the sleeve, the vinyl is not so bad but the sleeve is very poor and you have to wait for a future better one !  but the price begin at 1,99 euros and no reserve. Le vinyle n'est plus jouable correctement à cause des trop nombreuses rayures et défauts de surface. Le disque peut être cassé, dans ce cas il mérite sa place dans un listing uniquement s'il est très rare.
