The voltage is boosted internally to ±15Vdc in order to easily be able to control the wide dynamic range of the bass guitar. The pedal creates the fat overdrive sound that most bassists are looking for. Treble and Bass tone controls are perfectly matched to the characteristics of the bass and provide a wide range of tonal adjustment. BACKGROUND & DEVELOPMENT The design of the Bass Blaster started as an idea from the Tube bassist Mr. Hideyuki Kakuno. In order to give a strong impression of the existing bass sound, similar the driving sound of a tube amp, with a slight amount of distortion audible if you listen to the bass by itself, but without being able to hear the distortion when listening to the bass with the whole band, I was asked to create a pedal that could recreate this kind of sound. That's how the development of this effect pedal began. Also, another important factor is for the sound to be more distorted with a stronger touch and a clean tone when playing softly. Mr. Kakuno tried many variations of the circuit as I was developing it, and I was finally able to create the first Bass Blaster, which has now won high praise from many professional bassists. Bec vintage pour saxophone alto de marque Otto Link, made in USA, modèle "Super Tone Master", ouverture 7, de type "Early Babbitt", c'est-à-dire fabriqué à Elkhart, Indiana, entre 1975 et 1980. Ce modèle, recherché pour ses attaques plus directes que celles des Super Tone Master "Florida", avec sa grosse sonorité typique, ne se trouve plus, en alto qu'entre 350 et 600 euros, et pas forcément complet, alors que celui-ci est vendu avec sa ligature d'origine et son protège-bec en laiton (à la dorure très usée). On repère bien sur sa table la trame "denim" due à l'usinage spécifique des bec terminés à Elkhart entre 1973 (date du déménagement d'Otto Link de la Floride à l'Indiana) à 1980, et le chiffre de l'ouverture est frappé sur le côté du corps. A la différence des modèles Florida et Transitional antérieurs qui étaient dorés sur un nickelage du corps de bronze, la dorure a bien tenu sur la sous-couche d'argenture.  L'état du bec lui-même est très bon (table, rails, état cosmétique), il n'a pas été retouché. Cette ouverture 7 correspond à environ 0.085", c'est-à-dire F chez Selmer, ou 8 chez Meyer et Dukoff, ou 90 chez Berg Larsen (Larsen annonçant généralement une demie-taille de plus que le rendu réel). C'est donc un bec très professionnel, adapté pour un bon niveau de jazz. Port en colissimo.  Vintage alto saxophone mouthpiece, Otto Link, made in USA (Elkhart, Indiana), "Super Tone Master", opening 7, aera "Early Babbitt", made between 1975 and 1980. This modell, famour for his more direct sound than the Super Tone Master "Florida", with a big fat sonority, cost actually, in alto, around 400-600 $, even uncomplete. This one has its original ligature and its used cap. The mouthpiece is in good shape (table, cosmetics), untouched. This opening, 7, is about 0.085" (I haven't gauge to check it), as F / Selmer, or 8 / Meyer and Dukoff, or 90 / Berg Larsen (Larsen stamps a bigger opening than the real one). Le cable de prise venant du préamp est connecté avec son dispositif par un cynch/RCA dns l'embouchure, l'autre fin en cynch RCA va dans l'entrée du pré-amp qui est reglable pour volume (Gain), Tone et Compression. Le pré-ampli a une sortie jack de 6,3mm mono. Une fois le jack introduit, la pile de 9V est mise en marche. L#autre bout du cable selon les exigences de l#amplificateur peut être un XLR, un jack ou autres.
