      A Petite Vintage French Opaline Glass Shade Bedside or Side Table Lamp Light   I am selling a lovely petite vintage French table lamp.   This lamp has an ornate metal base with a decorative plastic central column topped with an oval white opaline glass shade. The lamp with its shade measures 25cm in height and the base has a diameter of  8.5cm The shade measures 16cm wide. This lamp weighs 700 g before packaging.  This lamp requires a short bayonet type bulb, I will include the bulb shown in the photos but as it is second hand I am unsure as to how much life is left in it. This lamp has an on/off switch incorporated into the flex but it will need to have a plug fitted. All measurements are approximate. Condition  This lamp has surface ageing to the metal parts which are commensurate with age and use.  There are several chips around the bottom edge of the glass shade but they are not obvious from the outside as the lamp frame hides them. They are visible if you look on the inside of the lamp from underneath. I have shown this lamp working and the two core flex appears to be in good order but I would advise you to have it checked/tested  before use and if necessary rewired to the standards required in your country of residence.   Payments by Paypal only please P+P  I take care with my packaging using strong boxes, bubble wrap and polychips.  Postage from France with tracking and insurance.
