Minolta Dynax 5 35mm film SLR with Minolta 28-80mm f3.5-5.6 D zoom lens, with front cap. Sold for parts or repair as it has some faults.  This camera kit is in good external condition, with some general signs of use. When checked with batteries (not included) the camera turns on, fires well and appears to operate normally. However the function dial on the front is not working properly. It's stiff to operate, sometimes it turns easily, sometimes not. It works, but it can be quite difficult to use. The viewfinder and focusing screen have quite a few dust spots. The mirror and lens mount are good, with minor signs of use, the film chamber is clean and the shutter looks OK. The lens is in good external condition, with light signs of use. There are mildew spots and specks of dust on the internal glass. The iris blades are free of oil and snappy, the zoom and focus barrels move smoothly. The focus works well in manual or auto modes, and it looks sharp through the viewfinder. Selection of 27 Sinar/Image Corporation square 100mm x 100mm filters. Seven of them have been opened, the rest all have their quality seal still intact, so they are apparently unused. Carl Zeiss Jena 180mm f2.8 Sonnar, in Pentacon Six mount, with M86/M95 filter thread adapter ring.  This vintage lens is in working condition, but it has as few problems, so sold for parts or repair. Externally there are some general signs of use, but it's in OK cosmetic condition for its age. The glass is clean and clear, and free of haze. It did have some minor signs of fungus, which have been removed and treated, but there are still some traces of it here and there. There are also few light surface marks in a few places. Overall the glass is good however. As with any used lens, there are a few minor specks of internal dust.  The focus barrel is working, the action is not smooth but it's fully functional and not stiff. The aperture blades are clean and free of oil, and the iris is usually snappy, but sometimes it's a little sluggish when stopping down - if you tilt the lens down towards the floor the iris sometimes won't stop down to the smallest apertures. When the lens is level this isn't a problem, the iris is snappy. The depth of field preview lever works well, and the rotating tripod mount also works well.  When checked on a camera the lens is functional and sharp, but it is sold for parts or repair due to the various issues mentioned.  I often have similar or compatible items for sale, see my shop for details. Faulty, sold for parts or repair.  This camera does not turn on, even after the battery has been charged. It has light general signs of use but no signs of physical damage, and no corrosion in the battery chamber. The screen has some light marks but look OK overall. The battery (a genuine Canon one) seems to charge OK on the charger, it flashes as normal until fully charged, but the camera does nothing when you try to turn it on. This is as far as I can test it. I have no idea if it would be a simple or expensive repair. Pentacon 29mm f2.8 manual focus lens M42 mount. Not working, in poor condition, sold for parts or repair. This lens is in OK external condition, with some general signs of use and age. The glass is very scratched, particularly on the front, and there is a lot of dust inside. The rear lens group is completely loose, it falls out if the lens is upside down. The aperture blades are clean and free of oil, the iris is snappy, and the aperture ring clicks correctly through the stops. The auto/manual iris switch works. Nikon AF Nikkor ED 300mm f4 autofocus prime lens, with front and rear caps. In good condition and in full working order, though the focus can be noisy (details below). Externally this lens is in very nice condition, with only light signs of use. The glass is also good, it's clean, clear and free of haze and fungus. There is one tiny mark on the front element, which doesn't affect image quality, and it's otherwise unmarked. As with any used lens, there are a few specks of internal dust. The aperture blades are excellent, they're clean and free of oil, the aperture ring clicks well through the stops and the iris is snappy. The AF servo motor can be noisy - sometimes the screw-drive gear makes a high-pitched noise when refocusing between near and far subjects (or vice versa). This is apparently a common problem on this lens, but it shouldn't affect performance. The autofocus is accurate, but the noise could be disturbing if, for example, you're photographing wildlife. In manual focus the gear will make a similar high-pitched noise if you focus quickly. For normal fine focusing it doesn't make this noise, you have to move the barrel quite quickly to provoke it. In any case, I have set a lower price to reflect the issue. The removable filter holder works well and the included Nikon L37c is in good condition, with minor signs of use. Jupiter-6 manual focus prime lens in 39mm screw mount, with case, front cap, three original filters, M42 adapter ring and M42 rear cap. In good condition and full working order. This lens is in good external condition for its age, with some signs of wear and use, but no dents or corrosion. The glass is good, it's clean, clear and free of haze and fungus. There a few minor signs of use, but no notable scratches or other marks. As with any used lens, there may be a few small specks of dust internally. The aperture blades are clean and free of oil, and the preset aperture mechanism works very well. The focus barrel is smooth through its range, there is a little front-to-back play but nothing that affects. usung the lens. The filters are also in good condition, they are clear with a few light marks. Tested on a digital body, this lens produces beautiful images and is suprisngly sharp.
