Le lecteur est vendu pour pièces ou  pour réparation pour la raison suivante: Il peut arriver de façon aléatoire  et rarement que la platine se mette en erreur et ne lise pas le cd. Dans ce cas, il faut éteindre la platine et la rallumer et elle fonctionne de nouveau. Celui-ci est livré avec une carte balanced (la plus chère et la plus appréciée). La batterie est aussi amovible, Hifiman étant le dernier constructeur à offrir cette possibilité. C'est un gage de durabilité. Celui-ci vient avec une 2e batterie (pas neuve mais récente, un an environ). J'ai installé l'ancienne batterie dès réception, l'autre est donc totalement neuve. J'ajoute aussi le chargeur et les câbles en double venant du HM901. Je l'ai reçu par DHL le 25 octobre 2018, il n'a pas quitté mon domicile depuis, toujours rangé dans sa boite, il est comme neuf.
