Viewing hood

This Rolleiflex T is in very good condition and appears to be fully functional. Glass is clean and clear, with no haze, no fungus. There is a small scratch on the viewing lens but no marks that I can see on the taking lens. Shutter fires on all speeds, sounds good. Focus is smooth throughout the range. Viewing screen (split prism) is in good condition. Viewing hood pops up and folds down neatly as it should, magnifying loupe works. Back fits nicely, locks properly.  This is one of the later Ts, which supports shooting 16 6x4.5 cm frames on a roll of 120 film, as well as the more typical 6x6 12 exposure configuration. The mask for shooting 6x4.5 is included and installed in the camera -- be sure to pop it out if you want to shoot 6x6! Removing the mask automatically sets the frame counter to 12 mode. The sport finder mask for shooting reduced frames (actually 5.5x4) is also included, but not pictured. Be sure to check out my other sales. Here we have a Standard Rolleiflex in acceptable condition considering its substantial age. The lenses are heavily fogged (fungus may also be present) and would need to be cleaned if the camera were to be used. The shutter fires and sounds OK down to 1/25 sec, but lower speeds are either too slow or too fast. Focus is a bit stiff but still smooth. Aperture is working properly. Viewing hood folds down neatly but the side panels don't want to stand up all the way. Bubble level on the ground glass is intact. Film transport is working. Back fits nicely. This is a beautiful looking Rolleicord Va with a couple of minor problems. The bad news: - There's something visible in the taking lens with a flashlight test, probably a bit of old fungus. Likely not enough to impact real world performance, but I have to disclose it. - Shutter sticks below 1/30th sec.  The good news: - Lenses otherwise look very nice, no marks or scratches. - Shutter works fine at speeds faster than 1/15th sec. - Film transport works, feels good. - Film counter works and resets. - Aperture control works, lever feels good. - Shutter speed selector feels good.  - Ground glass is fairly clean. - Magnifying loupe works. - Back fits nicely. - Viewing hood opens and collapses neatly. Here we have a Linhof Technika IV 5x7-inch (13x18 cm) camera. It is in pretty good used condition, and appears to be fully functional. The front standard take a bit of pushing to get onto the track, but all the movements and adjustments are smooth. There are no pinholes that I can see in the bellows (I checked with a flashlight). Ground glass is included, and viewing hood is intact. The handle leather is cracked: I would not trust it to hold the camera. This French TLR is apparently quite rare: it's the second version of SEM's b'"'Joie de Vivreb'"' simplified camera and never really found a market. This one seems to work properly: shutter fires, lenses look OK, focus is smooth across the range. Viewing hood is a little stiff when collapsing, but it works. Rolleiflex 2.8C Xenotar + Rolleinar 2 + Accessories. État : "Occasion" Rolleiflex 2.8C (1954) Nbr:1424444   Lens : 80mm 1:2.8 Schneider Kreuznach Xenotar lens It is  quite clean, no fungus, no separation. It does have few cleaning marks.   Shutter: The Shutter works fine, all speed correct The aperture iris uses 10 baldes. Of course both speed selection and aperture ring works smoothly. The timer works well.   The front plate is not bended and is perfectly aligned with the film plane. The focusing it smooth.   The advance lever is smooth and the counter works well. There is no light leaks It was equipped at some point in its life with a rolleikin to use 35mm film. Today it remains only the 35mm film counter on the side. I learned the hard way that if you push it, it starts spacing the views for 35mm. To get it out, push it 36 times to get back to “0”. If you only use 120 film, just leave it on “0”, then it will space the views for 6x6 photos.   Please note: -The shutter lock (plastic) was broken and fixed. Looks ugly, but works perfectly -The flash lock (plastic), was broken and lost. The flash socket still work, but you can’t lock it.   Accessories: - Original Lens cap   - Rolleinar 2 with its pouch The rolleinar 2 is a closeup filter. Not as strong as the rolleinar 3 which is best suited for macro, but stronger than the rolleinar 1. It is very nice for portraits. You can come close to 40cm to 70cm from your subject. The big part is for the viewing lens (red dot on top when locked on the camera, it will correct the parallax) The small part is for the taking lens. It locks one in the other for transportation   - Bay III to 52mm thread adapter To be honest, you can buy a lot of expensive accessories for Rolleiflex, but this one is just a must have. Once locked, you can add any 52mm filter or lens hood that you want.   - 52mm thread lens hood. Well it’s kind of mandatory with the bay III adapter   The setup: I used this camera without any issues. It is not a brand new camera. It has its marks of use. But it was used with care and love. If you are looking for a piece of museum, please look elsewhere. This was my setup and it proved to be versatile. Maybe it will suits your needs. As you can see in 9th picture, metal attachment between display and hood was lost.
