A Beautiful All Stainless Steel Camy Superautomatic Seven Seas 1000ft/300m Divers Watch with Screw Down Crown and incorporating HEV(Helium escape valve) Camy Watch was founded in Grenchen in 1913, and for a period I cannot ascertain, was certainly listed as "Fabrique d'Horlogerie Camy - Stroun Freres S.A.Camy Watch S.A. turns out to be a rather intriguing company, with no lesser figure than Raymond Weil joining and managing it from 1949, for 26 years. Later, of course, Raymond Weil formed his own watch company. Case:- Stainless Steel 39mm excluding crown and 40 mm lug to lug. 18 mm lugs Bezel:- Probably aluminium with 5 minutes increments. Rare Jumbo Size Seamaster Bumper - Exceptional Condition, All Original. État: "Occasion" I bought this watch to the original owner, who bought it in 1952 (as he said). He barely worn it. The condition is exceptional: the case seems to be unpolished, very sharp. The dial is in very good condition. Marking are clear. Original lume is still there and has turned in dark brown patina. The crown is original. The watch seems to keep good time. History service is not known so service may need to be necessary in the future to ensure perfect accuracy. The watch is called jumbo as it is bigger than regular Seamaster of the same era. Usually, omega from this era are 32/33mm. This one is +35mm and this size is quite rare on the market. The watch will be provided with a generic black leather strap with generic buckle. Reference is 2657-3 / 2494 Don’t miss it !

Notable inventions and patents[edit] Speedometer 1934 Talbot 105 Since Jaeger-LeCoultre's founding, the company has produced over 1,242 different calibres, registered approximately 400 patents and created hundreds of inventions.[7] - In 1844, Antoine LeCoultre invented the Millionomètre, which was the first instrument in history capable of measuring the micron, allowing for the precise manufacture of watch parts. The invention was never patented, as no such system existed in Switzerland at the time. However, its unique composition was kept a closely guarded secret, used by the company for more than fifty years. It was presented at the Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900.[15] - In 1847, Antoine invented a keyless watch,[15] the second simple and reliable winding and time-setting system to do without a key after Patek Philippe's version of 1845.[16] Instead, it relied on a small push-piece that activated a lever to change over from one function to another.[10] Again, the invention was not patented, allowing other watchmakers to quickly implement the system.[15] - In 1866, for the first time in watchmaking history, LeCoultre & Cie. began to manufacture calibres with small complications in small series, and in 1891 combined the chronograph and minute repeater complications into a double complication calibre.[17] This subsequently led in the mid-1890s to the production of grandes complications, or watches comprising at least three classic horological complications, such as a perpetual calendar, chronograph and minute repeater.[15] In 2004, the Manufacture created the Gyrotourbillon I, its first grande complication wristwatch, featuring a tourbillon gravitating on two axes, along with a perpetual calendar with double retrograde indicators and a running equation of time.[15] In 2006, it released the Reverso grande complication à triptyque, the first watch in history to be equipped with three dials driven by a single movement,[18] and in 2009 the company produced one of the world's most complicated wristwatches, the Hybris Mechanica à Grande Sonnerie with 26 complications.[19] - In 1907, the LeCoultre Calibre 145 set the record for the world's thinnest movement at 1.38 mm thick, appearing in pocket watches that remain to this day the thinnest in their category.[15] From 1907 until the 1960s, the movement was produced in some 400 copies.[20] Fast post from France PayPal by arrangement only Please note.................. I contacted JLC, they said.......................  Thank you for your new message and for your interest in Jaeger-LeCoultre. I had this morning a response from our experts from the repair center. According to our experts, it is possible to polish the glass of your vintage watch but it remains a very delicate operation. Therefore, they recommend that the entire crystal is changed. Each request carries a fee of 260 CHF, payable once we have verified we can satisfy your information request. This fee is to compensate the efforts and meticulous work conducted by our antique timepiece expert.
