This is a 5 piece 8.75 Carat total lot of small or thin Lightning Ridge Black /Semi-black and Crystal Opal Rough. Theses are odd shaped or have sand or uneven potch sections. Note-the first picture is of the stones in water.  The green crystal will cut a nice gem for sure, the others may be more for faceting or wire wrap projects or specimens.   These have very nice crystal opal/black opal colors but are very small and might be best for someone who can polish or facet small stones. As they are raw opal, some pieces do have sand or potch sections.  The pictures are of the stones shown wet and macro close ups pics under LED light to bring out possible color potential when polished. (NOTE: these are on a black background and that brings out the bright color glow in the stones when wet) The pieces range in size from as small as 7mm wide up to as large as 12mm across. Thickness is as small as 3mm up to 5.5mm thick. (the ruler in the pictures is in Millimeters). As shown in the pictures, pieces have sand or potch sections. This is an odd shaped piece of Coober Pedy Opal Rubbed (unfinished) Gem material with an exposed section of bright green flash with sparkle underneath on one edge. The piece is 8.8 Carats and measures 22mm in length and approx 7mm thick, the width tapers up from 6mm to 9mm.  I tried to show the depth of the gem material on then of the stone in the pictures to show that you may want to work or polish into a gem. La pièce fait 8,8 carats et mesure 22 mm de long et environ 7 mm d'épaisseur, la largeur allant de 6 à 9 mm.  J'ai essayé de montrer la profondeur du matériau de la gemme puis de la pierre sur les photos pour montrer que vous pouvez vouloir travailler ou polir pour en faire une gemme. (la partie brillante est actuellement concave, ce qui est peut-être mieux pour un spécimen de sculpture) pourrait être façonnée en un pendentif ou une pièce de fil de fer. Les sections de pierres précieuses clignotent lorsque la pierre se déplace et que la lumière la frappe Les photos sont de la pierre présentée humide et des photos macro en gros plan sous lumière LED pour apporter de la couleur lorsqu'elle est polie.  Ce n'est pas une pièce de forme idéale, car la section de la gemme se trouve principalement à une extrémité et est inégale. vendue comme spécimen. (comme pour toute ébauche, il peut y avoir du sable ou des fissures, ce qui ne garantit pas qu'elle coupera une pierre, mais les photos et la vidéo doivent être de qualité)  Ils seront expédiés de la poste régulière française, donc attendez-vous à un certain retard si vous êtes à l'étranger. This is a 4 piece 36.7 Carat total lot of small Lightning Ridge Crystal Opal Rough for cutting/carving . (please see ruler in pictures, it is in millimeters and these are close up pictures)  (one piece appears to be a bright fossil section, one is a sandy offcut which bright gem section) These are small or thin but colorful pieces that have nice purple or multicolor glow. Most have bright internal color line or section, but uneven skin that needs clearing. (be used to hand cutting or working with thin / small material) These have very nice sections crystal opal or sparkle but due to thin nature, intended for projects needing small opal pieces or someone used to cutting odd or very thin pieces since the color sections are small or very thin and delicate. As they are raw opal, some pieces have sand or potch sections.  The pictures are of the stones shown wet and macro close ups pics under LED light to bring out possible color potential when polished. As with any opal rough, no guarantees that they will cut gems, but pictures are representative of potential.  . Hobby/practice cutting rubbed opal rough with many small bright colors thin crystal pieces- see notes   This is a 36 Carat total (7.2 gram) lot of small or thin Lightning Ridge (with some coober pedy) Crystal and Dark Opal Rough, opal rubs and rubbed rough opal pieces. Most all of these pieces have bright flashing sections or deep color, or offcut/rubbed sections exposing great color or bright flash.  These have very nice crystal opal/semi-black opal colors but, are very small or the exposed color / flash sections color lines are thin. others may have sand spots as seen in the pictures.  These might be best for someone who can polish or carve small stones. As they are raw opal, some pieces do have sand or potch sections.  The pictures are of the stones shown wet and some are macro close ups pics under LED light to show color potential when polished. (NOTE: these are on a black background and that brings out the bright color glow in the stones when wet) The pieces range in size from as small as 8mm wide up to as large as 25mm across. Thickness is as small as 2mm up to 6mm thick. (the ruler in the pictures is in Millimeters)..
