Le M81 de Beyerdynamic est un micro assez prisé par les studios Américain. D’un excellent rapport qualité prix, il apporte un petit plus à l'enregistrement. Il n’est certainement pas le micro le plus polyvalent d’un parc mais sauve souvent des prises difficiles. Il accepte les grosses pressions en donnant un grain assez particulier.
